Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Kolazhy

Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Kolazhy, Thrissur, is a co-ed school under the management of the Chinmaya Mission Educational and Cultural Trust. The school is spread across an area of 5,592 square metres. It provides a variety of facilities, such as hostels, music rooms, dance rooms, an auditorium, a library, labs, a cafeteria, transportation facilities, medical facilities and health and medical checkup services to promote a healthy and nurturing environment for students.

The school was established in 1979. Education is offered from Pre-nursery to Class 12 under the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) curriculum. Various academic streams, including PCM, PCB, commerce and arts are provided for senior secondary students. Events and activities, such as debate and discussions, educational tours, drama, seminars, sports day, annual fest, arts and crafts, scouts, guides and N.C.C., science exhibitions, festival celebrations, Christmas Carnival, yoga activities and extracurricular activities are organised for students’ interest and promote overall growth and development of the students.
