PM Shri Kendriya Vidyalaya, Paschim Vihar

Kendriya Vidyalaya Paschim Vihar started its journey on January 13, 1996, with a semi-permanent setup accommodating only classes up to 5 with 1 section in each class. The school has now grown over 5.5 acres of land with a world-class infrastructure and facilities for students. Present Kendriya Vidyalaya Paschim Vihar has classes 1 to 12 with four sections each (while class 11 & 12 has 2 sections of Science stream, 1 section of Humanities stream and 1 section of Commerce stream). 

KV Paschim Vihar is a co-educational institute maintained and run by Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) with an enrolment of around 2500 students. Over the period of seven years, the school has built exclusive spacious playgrounds, well equipped Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Maths Labs, attractive child-friendly activity-oriented classrooms, full-fledged library with computer facility, 3 computer labs with educational software for computer-assisted learning, activity & resource centre, automated office, latest educational & teaching aids swimming pool & squash courts.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Paschim Vihar was initially started to fulfil the educational needs of the Central government & defence personal employee children along with the floating population residing in the west zone of Delhi.
