The online application form is typically available between July and September for the applicants currently studying in Class 10 or 12. The selection and application processes are managed by the UWC Committee of India, not MUWCI.

• The 2-Year Diploma Program at MUWCI can be enrolled to in two ways

• Global Selections Program- For individuals wanting to enrol in a specific UWC school or institution, the UWC International Office manages a rolling application process. Via this procedure, no scholarships are offered. Early applicants are allowed to confirm their acceptance 10–12 months prior to the start of the academic year. You are chosen from a large pool of candidates from throughout the world, and you will travel to one of many selection camps there.

• UWC National Committee System- For applicants who desire to apply to the UWC movement but not to a particular school, your nation's National Committee handles the conventional application procedure (you will be able to select preferred colleges). Applicants that use this method of application are eligible for need-based scholarships. You are chosen from a pool of applicants from around the nation, and you must engage in selection processes there.

• The IB Diploma Programme at UWC only accepts one application per candidate per year. As a condition, you cannot submit applications to the UWC Global Selection Program or two different UWC national committees at the same time.

• After you have finalised your application route, you may apply via UWC GSP website- https://www.uwc.org/gsp, or UWC India National Committee website- https://www.in.uwc.org/. 

• You may visit the website to know about the difference between International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) and the International Baccalaureate Career-related Programme (IBCP) at UWC

• Your application will be evaluated by the selection committee in light of the core selection criteria of UWC 

If you are applying through the Indian National Committee:

1. Submit the application fee and obtain the application form to UWC Committee of India. You must include your most recent transcript/grades for the previous and current school years, as well as a letter of recommendation from a teacher or the head of school, along with your application.

2. Your invitation to the selection camp will be sent to you via email if the selection committee agrees to move forward with your application. Candidates who reside abroad will be requested to arrange a phone or video conference interview.

3. Those who get the shortlist will be invited to an in-person interview at the campus outside of Pune. Attendance is strongly advised! In unusual cases, the school accepts phone or video call interviews or requests alumni from these to conduct interviews (mostly owing to expensive fees for candidates from other regions such the North-Eastern states, Ladakh, or Kashmir).

4. If selected, applicants are ranked, and the top ones receive offers of places and scholarships.

5. The new school year begins in August. Due to a Southern Hemisphere school calendar, the academic year will start in January if you are chosen to attend UWC Waterford Kamhlaba in Swaziland.

If you are accepted at the school:

1. The following materials should have been sent to you through email by the Admissions department:

• Terms and Conditions

• Student Information

2. To accept your admission at MUWCI, you will need to email the school declaration letter and properly complete the student information form.

3. The fee invoice and visa invitation letter will be sent to you once you have accepted your employment at MUWCI. Start handling the payment of the fee and the visa application as soon as possible.

4. Visa application guidelines will be provided to you along with the Health & Well-being form

5. You will then need to submit an arrival form as well as send the visa scans, and photo submissions for immigration purposes (FRO). 

6. Thereafter, the following 3 forms need to be filled: 

• Academic Planning Form
• Permissions Form
• Parent Engagement Form

Before taking into account the need-based scholarship you may be qualified for, the annual tuition at MUWCI is roughly USD 34,000 for international students and INR 23,62,500 for Indian citizens.
