Kendriya Vidyalaya Sector 80, Mohali, Admission Procedure

• The KV school serves students from Classes 1 to 12th. 
• The admission for Class 1 is done online, while for other classes it is done offline. 
• The KV admission process is different for Class 1, Class 2 to 8, and Class 9, 10, 11, and 12.
• Admission to class 1 is done based on a lottery system. 
• For Classes 2 to 8, admission is done as per the priority category allotment system. And if the number of applications is more than the number of seats, then a lottery system will be followed in each category.
• While class 9 admission is based on candidates' performance in the admission test.
• Admission to class 11 is given based on the candidates' score in class 10th.

• Visit the official website, mohali.kvs.ac.in or kvsangathan.nic.in.
• Fill in the online KV admission form for class 1 and the offline admission form for class 2 and above.
• Ensure all the details mentioned in the admission form are correct and submit.
• Wait for the admission list. After that, check the KVS admission list.
• If selected, submit the required documents along with the fees to the respective KVs.

Note: Admission priority is given to KV students first, and if seats still remain vacant, then admission will be granted to non-KV students.

• Birth certificate or proof of DOB
• Passport-size photo of the child
• Residence proof
• SC/ST/OBC certificate
• EWS/BPL certificate
• An affidavit in the case of a Single Girl Child
• Service certificate of an employee
• Proof of the relationship of a child's parents with grandparents.
