The Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan will begin the KVS registration for class 11 within 10 days after the declaration of the CBSE class 10 result 2025. Kendriya Vidyalaya 11th Admission Dates 2025

Students applying for admission to KVS class 11 must keep track of the upcoming events and their dates. Below, we have provided the table with important dates related to KVS admission to 11th for students’ reference.

KVS 11th Selection Criteria for Admission 2025

For Kendriya Vidyalaya admission to class 11, students must fill out the registration form and submit it along with the required documents to their respective KVS. Below, we have provided the KVS selection criteria for class 11.

• Admission will be granted to KV students based on their performance in class 10 result and the availability of seats.

• Admission to non-KV students will be granted only if seats remain vacant after admitting KV/neighbouring KVS students first.

• In case two or more candidates score equal marks in aggregate then admission will be granted to the candidate with higher marks in Maths.

• If they have the same score in Maths then admission will be given to candidates who have higher marks in Maths and Science together.

• However, if there’s still a tie between two or more candidates then admission will be given as per their date of birth. The preference will go to the older candidate.

KVS Seat Eligibility for Admission to Class 11

• The preferred size for each class in KVS is 50. In case the number of eligible candidates exceeds 50 then schools must try to consult for allotment in the neighbouring KVS to ensure all the eligible KVS student gets a seat.

• However, as per the KVS, the school principal cannot offer admission to non-KVS students if the total number of students in class exceeds 40.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Class 11 Eligibility Criteria

• There is no age eligibility for admission to Kendriya Vidyalaya class 11. Students who passed in the CBSE class 10 result can apply for admission in the same academic year.

• In case a student who was not eligible to apply for admission to a particular stream in KVS class 11 will be eligible to reapply after taking a year to improve their academic performance. The school will consider them for fresh admission based on their improved performance from the same board after admitting eligible students from the current academic year.

Upgradation of Marks for Admission to KVS 11th 2025

Students who belong to SC/ST/OBC-NCL/CwSN will get the advantage of 4% upgradation in aggregate during the admission to KVS class 11 2025. This policy ensures that students from these categories get better opportunities.

Concessions for Admission to KVS Class 11
