The Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE), Tamil Nadu, released the TN HSE +1 supplementary timetable on May 16, 2025. The board will conduct the TN 11th supplementary exams from July 4 to 11, 2025. The TN higher secondary first year (HSE +1) supplementary exams are held for students who were unable to clear one or more subjects in the TN Class 11th 2025 public exams. The annual TN 11th result was released on May 16, 2025, and students who need a second chance to pass can register for the TN 11th supplementary exams from May 22 to June 4, 2025. The supplementary application dates and fees has been announced by the Tamil Nadu Board through the official website, dge.tn.gov.in.

In the following section, students can find the application process for appearing in the TN Class 11 supplementary exams 2025:
Students who appeared for the TN 11th 2025 annual exams in March 2025 and failed or were absent can apply for the TN Class 11th supplementary exam through their respective schools.
TN Class 11 supplementary exam application dates are from May 22 to June 4, 2025.
The process of application involves visiting the school authorities and submitting the supplementary exam application form and requisite documents in person.
Eligible private candidates or those not affiliated with a school must apply through Government Examinations Service centres set up across each education district.
The last date of application is specified by the board. The applications will commence on May 22, 2025.
Private candidates can also visit dge.tn.gov.in to know centre-wise details.
Eligibility guidelines and TN HSE +1 supply exam application instructions are available at the centres and can also be accessed via the offices of Principal Education Officers, District Education Officers, and Assistant Directors of Government Examinations.
Note: Students who could not apply for the supplementary exam can apply further through the Special Admission Scheme with a fee of INR 1000/- on June 5 and 6, 2025.
