The GSEB HSC toppers' names, marks and other details might be announced shortly by the Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board, Gandhinagar. The GSEB HSC results 2026 have been published on May 4, 2026. Along with the result announcement, the board releases district-wise, gender-wise, category wise performance data. The board may also decide to put out the list of GSEB 12th board exam toppers. If released, the GSEB HSC toppers' name list PDF will be available at - gseb.org.

Students who secure the highest marks will emerge as toppers and will have their names on the Gujarat HSC merit list 2026. Students who will be featured at the top of the merit list will attract attention from schools and the media.
The following table will be updated once the board announces the GSEB 12th toppers' details. Students must note that there is no fixed topper cut-off, and the highest scorer automatically becomes the Gujarat Board Class 12 board exam topper.

In the General Stream, the overall performance remained strong in 2026 with a pass percentage of 92.71%, slightly lower than 93.07% in 2025. A total of 4,35,102 regular candidates appeared, out of which 4,03,362 passed. The performance of repeat candidates improved significantly, with the pass percentage rising to 63.02% from 45.36%. Female students continued to outperform males, achieving a pass rate of 95.41% compared to 90.10% for males. Also, the number of schools achieving 100% results increased to 2030.

In the Science Stream, results showed a positive trend with the pass percentage increasing to 84.33% in 2026 from 83.51% in 2025. A total of 1,11,090 regular candidates appeared, and 93,678 successfully passed. Female students slightly outperformed male students with a pass rate of 84.65% compared to 84.04%. However, the performance of repeat candidates declined marginally to 24.39%. The number of schools achieving 100% results also rose to 209, indicating overall improvement in academic outcomes.
