Delhi Public School, Kalinga, Admission Procedure

The admission to DPS Kalinga will be purely based on candidates performance in entrance examination followed by interaction session with parents. Below, we have provided general registration process which students must follow to apply for admission. 

• Students can find the registration form for admission to DPS Kalinga online at dpskalinga.edu.in, or they can visit the school and obtain it from the Accounts Department in the school by paying the registration fee.
• After that, students will have to fill out the form carefully and submit it (in person) along with the required documents.
• Once the registration form is submitted, the students will recieve prospectus, syllabus and the details of the admission procedure. (Students will have to collect the prospectus in person by visiting the school).
• Admission to pre-primary class is based on activities that test candidates thinking skills and their abilities to identify and associate with fundamental concepts like shapes, colors, objects and numbers. 
• Whereas, students are test on basic questions in English, Maths and second language for admission to Classes 1 to 5, while for Classes 6 to 9, admission test is conducted in English, Maths and Science subjects. 
• In class 11, students are alloted streams based on their marks secured based on following criteria:
  a) Science Stream: English, Maths and Science
  b) Commerce Stream: English and Maths
  c) Arts Stream: English

• Passport-sized photograph of the candidate
• Copy of Birth Certificate of student
• Copy of Aadhaar of student and parents
• Copy of Caste Certificate (if applicable)
• Copy of Report Card/ Mark Sheet of student
