Kendriya Vidyalaya Pushp Vihar is a co-educational civil sector school. The school is focusing on quality education right from its inception in August 1983. KV Pushp Vihar is successfully stepping towards its goal under the guidance of Mrs Dharitri Das, Principal along with her team of highly qualified and experienced teaching and non-teaching staff. KV Push Vihar prioritizes preaching discipline, academics, cleanliness and co-curricular activities.

The school functions under the governance of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS), now has a fully-fledged three-storied building with all the basic amenities for children. Kendriya Vidyalaya Pushp Vihar also offers a number of gaming and sports facilities to its students like Skating Rink, Basket Ball, Volley Ball, Gym, Lawn Tennis, Kho Kho, Athletics, and Football etc.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Pushp Vihar currently has more than 4400 students enrolled at its campus with two shifts running successfully with completely different staff, management and school timing functioning in the same campus. The first shift has 4 sections each from class 1 to 12 with 2 sections of Science, 1 each of Commerce and Humanities stream at +2 level. The second shift has 3 sections each from class 1 to 8, 4 sections in class 9 & 10 and 1 section each for Commerce, Science and Arts in class 11 & 12.

Admission Procedure

The admission to KV class 1 is conducted as per the guidelines set by the KVS while admission to classes 2 to 11 is completely subject to available vacancies. Kendriya Vidyalaya Pushp Vihar online admission forms are filled after the notification is released. Then, the students are shortlisted through the lottery system with preference to central or state government employee children.

Once a student is shortlisted for KV Pushp Vihar, parents are required to do paperwork and submit fee to confirm the seat of their child in school.
