PM Shri Kendriya Vidyalaya, Pitampura

Kendriya Vidyalaya Pitampura was built in a healthy and hygienic environment to provide a good educational environment. The first batch in KV Pitampura was started on August 16, 1985. Kendriya Vidyalaya Pitampura has an artistic beautifully designed three-story building that provides all basic amenities. The Kendriya Vidyalaya in Pitampura follows an activity-based and child-centred teaching approach which leads to the holistic development of the children. 

Kendriya Vidyalaya Pitampura is the best example of unity in diversity because of its vision for catering the educational needs of children of transferable central and state government employees. This is a co-ed Vidyalaya affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) successfully led by Anjali Thakkar, Principal KV Pitampura. Students appear for the class X and class XII exams in the month of March, every year.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Pitampura has gradually expanded year-wise. KV Pitampura has around 35000 students currently enrolled at its campus. KV Pitampura second shift started from 2010-11 for the first time with completely separate staff, school timing and functioning in the same building. In the first shift, class 1 to 10 has 4 sections while class 11 and 12 has 3 sections of science 1 of commerce and 1 of humanities. The second shift has classes 1 to 10 with 1 section each.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Pitampura offers wide games and sports facilities to its students like Volleyball, Kho Kho, Lawn Tennis, Basket Ball, Football, Skating Rink etc. In addition to these, it also has a facility for Gym and athletics.
