KVPY Result 2019- The Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bangalore will release the stream-wise result of KVPY 2019 in the third week of December 2019. The KVPY aptitude test result will be released in the form of merit list which contains the names of selected candidates. Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY) 2019 examination will be held on November 3, 2019 in CBT mode. Candidates who will qualify the written test with minimum cut off marks will be called for the Interview process. The interview od selected candidates will be conducted in January/ February 2020. The final KVPY result 2019 will be announced in the last week of April 2020. Last year, KVPY result was announced on December 20, 2018 while the final KVPY was declared on April 23, 2019.
The final KVPY result will be compiled with 75% weightage to the performance in KVPY 2019 exam and 25% in the interview. The result of KVPY will be declared in the online mode for SA, SX and SB streams. The result can be checked by entering the application number and date-of-birth in the login window. The result of KVPY 2019 aptitude test will be announced online in the third week of December 2019. The result will be available on the main web portal of KVPY in form of merit list. The merit list will be uploaded on the website in the form of a pdf containing the name and roll number of the selected candidates. After the declaration of KVPY 2019 result, shortlisted candidates have to download the interview call letter. IISc will upload the call letter on the official website that candidates will be able to download by entering the user ID and password. The interview call letters will be uploaded in the third week of January 2020. Candidates must carry the interview call letter and below-mentioned documents to the interview.

Q: How can I check my KVPY result 2019?
A: The KVPY result will be made available in two stages. The first stage result for the aptitude test will be released in December 2019. The interview result will be announced in April 2019.
Q: How will I know whether I qualified after the KVPY result is announced and for which stage?
A: The KVPY result for the aptitude test is in the form of pdf released separately for each category under each stream. So you will have to click on the pdf pertaining to your category under the stream you have applied for. Check for your roll number or application form since two candidates may have the same name. If your roll number, application number and name are listed then you have qualified for the interview round.
Q. How can I know how many marks I have scored after the result of KVPY 2019 is announced?
A. Marks for the aptitude test are not announced. They will be used to compute the final result. The total marks will be available after the final result will be declared, in April 2020.
Q. What do I need to do after the KVPY result declaration?
A. You will need to download the interview call letter if you have qualified. You will have to prepare and report for the interview as per the schedule is given on the call letter. You should also carry the specified documents when you go to attend the interview.
Q. Will the KVPY result for the interview declared immediately after or separately?
A. The KVPY interview result will not be separately announced. IISc Bangalore announces the final results compiled on the basis of the marks obtained in the aptitude test and interview put together.
Q. How will I know whether I have qualified for the KVPY 2019 fellowships?
A. IISc Bangalore will release the merit lists for each stream and category with names of candidates who have been provisionally selected for the fellowships along with their roll numbers.
Q: How is the final KVPY result 2019 calculated?
A: The final result of KVPY 2019 will be announced after the interviews are completed and the scores of all candidates compiled accordingly. Weightage given to aptitude test is 75% while the interview is given 25% weightage. So the scores are compiled and released. To check the scores, you will have to log in using your application number and date of birth. However, the list of candidates selected for the fellowship is also released in the form of pdf. Such candidates are awarded the fellowship if they meet the specified criteria.
