St. Joseph's School, Khorabar, Requirements for Admission (For LKG)

• Admission to LKG begins in January-February of every year. 
• Candidates applying for admission to LKG will be called for interaction along with their parents. 

• Students will be admitted based on their performance in the interaction session. During the session, they shall be able to 

  • Recognise and recite English and Hindi alphabets
  • Recognise and count numbers 1 to 20
  • Recognise colours, flowers, animals, birds and fruits
  • Answer questions smartly and intelligently

• Birth Certificate
• Baptism Certificate from the Parish (for Christian Children)
• Birth Certificate from the competent authority, such as the panchayat/nagarapalika/maha nagarapalika
• Stamp-size photographs

St. Joseph's School, Khorabar, Admission in UKG to Class 9

• The academic year of other classes starts from April to March.
• Admission to UKG to Class 9 will be based on merit and availability of seats. 
• A written test followed by an interview will be taken by the school. To be eligible for admission, candidates must score a minimum of 60% in all subjects in the written test.
• The list of names of selected candidates will be released on the school notice board.

Note: Applications for classes 6 and above will be entertained only if the candidate is from a recognised English medium school.

• Admission will be based on their academic performance in the previous classes (Class 9 and 10).
• They must score a minimum of 70% marks in the preliminary and model examination of class 10th.
• Good conduct and behaviour, and other social and personal qualities.
• At least a "B" grade awarded in the SUPW and Community Service.
• A minimum of 80% attendance in classes 9 and 10.
• At least 70% marks in each subject opted for the ISC course.

• Xerox of the statement of marks (board) ICSE exam
• Progress report card of class 10
• Character certificate from the school last attended
• Transfer certificate
