KVPY Question Papers 2019: Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore (IISc) has released the official previous years' KVPY question papers. Students are advised to practice the question papers of KVPY to understand the exam pattern, topic-wise weightage, marking scheme, difficulty level etc. Along with KVPY question papers, IISc has also published online mock test. KVPY mock test has been released on September 12.
KVPY Previous Year's question papers include 80 questions in SA stream and 120 questions in SB/SX stream which students have to attempt within 3 hours. Question papers can be found in both Hindi and English and students can choose their preferred language to answer them. KVPY exam questions are multiple choice and objective based. The syllabus comprises questions from Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology. The answer key of KVPY will be released in the first week of November 2019. The answer keys are the correct options of the four listed with each question in the exam. Candidates can check the KVPY answer key and compare the same with the answers they marked. Through this exercise, they can arrive at their probable KVPY 2019 score.
Before solving KVPY question papers, candidates must know the exam pattern. Questions in KVPY are asked from Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology. KVPY question papers of all three streams include two sections, section - A and B. Every question in Part A carries 1 marks while each question in Part B carries 2 marks.

Negative Marking - In case of wrong questions in Part A, 0.25% marks will be deducted and in Part B, 0.50% marks will be deducted

They must carry the admit card to the examination hall, otherwise, they will not be allowed to appear for the exam.
The KVPY cutoff marks are set by IISc for final selection. The cutoff is the minimum qualifying marks set for the aptitude test. Candidates who will qualify as per KVPY cutoff marks will only be shortlisted for the fellowship programme. It is to be noted that the cutoff of KVPY will be different for each stream.
