Bihar Scholarship 2025 Eligibility Criteria

Students must learn the Bihar Scholarship 2025 eligibility criteria before applying for the scholarship. To qualify for the Bihar Scholarship 2025, they must meet the following criteria as provided below. If a student does not meet these requirements, their application will be rejected.

Bihar Scholarship 2025 Eligibility Criteria

Post-Matric Scholarship (PMS) For BC-EBS	Domicile: Bihar Category: BC-EBC Must have passed 10th class and studying in a recognized School/Institute Family annual income: Should not exceed 1.5 lakh Only two kids of the parent can avail Bihar scholarship. A student already availing of a scholarship from any organization can not achieve this scholarship.
Post-Matric Scholarship (PMS) For ST	Domicile: Bihar Category: ST Must have passed 10th class and studying in a recognized School/Institute Family annual income: Should not exceed 2.5 lakh
Post-Matric Scholarship (PMS) For SC	Domicile: Bihar Category: SC Must have passed 10th class and studying post-matriculation or post-secondary course in a recognized in a School/Institute Family annual income: Should not exceed 2.5 lakh He/she can not avail of this scholarship along with any other scholarship.
Post-matric Scholarship for Students with Disabilities	Students with 40% and above disabilities defined in the Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016 are eligible for this scholarship. A maximum of two children of the same parents are provided with this scholarship. The annual family income should not be more than Rs. 2.5 lakh. Must have passed 10th and pursuing intermediate/ diploma/ graduate/ post-graduate course in a recognized institute. Open students can also apply for this scholarship.
Post-Matric Scholarships Scheme for Minorities	Category: Minority (Muslims, Sikhs, Christians, Buddhists, Jain and Parsis) Must have passed 10th class. Must have secured 50% marks in the previous final examination. Family annual income: should not exceed Rs. 2 lakh Domicile: Bihar (India)
Pre-Matric Scholarships Scheme for Minorities	Must be a student of class 1 or 10 in a school recognized by the Government. He/she must have scored at least 50% in previous final examinations. Domicile: Bihar Annual family income: should not exceed Rs. 1 lakh Minority category (Muslims, Sikhs, Christians, Buddhists, Jain, and Parsis)
Pre-matric Scholarship for Students with Disabilities	Students must be a regular student in class 9 or 10 at a government-approved school. Annual family income: should not exceed Rs. 2.5 lakh Domicile: Bihar
National-Means-Cum Merit Scholarship	Must be studying in 8th class Annual family income limit: Rs. 1.5 lakh Students from JNV, KV, and Sainik School are not eligible to apply. Only students who qualify for the NMMS exam are provided with this scholarship.
National Talent Search Examination	The student must be studying in the 10th class. Those who are selected for the NTSE Bihar exam will be eligible for this scholarship.
Bihar Chief Minister Medhavi Yojana for EBC/BC Students	Students with more than 60% in their BSEB matric examinations are eligible for this. The annual family income should not be more than Rs. 1 lakh. Category: EBC/BC
Examination for Bihar Talent Search (BTSE)	Bihar students in the 7th to 10th can apply for this scholarship examination.

How to Fill Bihar Scholarship Application Form 2025

Bihar Scholarship Registration 2025

Visit the official website at scholarships.gov.in.
Go to the 'New Registration' option on the home page.
On the next page, read the guidelines thoroughly and check the disclaimer box.
After that, click the “Proceed” option for the registration form.
Select Bihar from the list of domiciles, then select the category to apply for the Bihar Scholarship 2025.
Enter the student's name and choose 'Scholarship scheme' from the scheme types list.
Fill in the blanks with your contact details, bank details, ID details, and the captcha code.
Submit it by clicking the register button after accepting all the disclaimers.
Take note of the application number generated and shown on the screen.
Click the continue button and the login page will open.

Login to Bihar Scholarship 2025

Students must log in using their credentials after registration.
In the login window, they must enter their application number.
Then, enter the password, which will be the student's birth date.
Now, enter the captcha code that appears on the screen and click the login button.
An OTP will be given to the registered mobile number; enter it and click on the 'Confirm OTP' button to open a password change window.
Enter a new password and confirm the same by re-entering it. Then, submit it and it will open the student dashboard.

Bihar Scholarship Application Form 2025

Open the application form link on the dashboard, which will take you to the Bihar Scholarship 2025 form.
Fill up the General information as asked.
Then provide your current academic information, previous class/course information, and any other information requested.
To submit the form, click the 'Save and Continue' option.

Renewal of Bihar Scholarship 2025

Students who have received the Bihar scholarship amount in the previous year, do not need to register freshly at NSP. They need to apply for renewal of the Bihar Scholarship 2025. For this, they can follow the given steps:

After opening the official website, click on the renewal link for the current year.
Enter the app ID and password.
Fill in the captcha code and click the submit button.
On the dashboard, click the Apply for Renewal option.
It will open a form. Students must enter the information requested for renewal.
Then click the ‘Final Submit’ button and the application for Bihar scholarship 2024 renewal will be submitted.
Take a printout of the Bihar scholarship form to use later.
