How to Download Maharashtra HSC Result 2018?


Maharashtra Board will declare Maharashtra 12th result in the online mode on May 30. Candidates have to enter their roll number and mother’s first name to check Maharashtra 12th result 2018. Follow the steps given below to check HSC result:


Step 1: Click on the link for Maharashtra class 12th result 2018 to be activated here as soon as the result is announced

Step 2:  After clicking on the link, login page will appear on the screen

Step 3: Select your stream (Arts, Commerce or Science).

Step 4: Enter your credentials such as ‘Roll Number’ and ‘Mother’s First Name’ and click the button ‘View Result’.

Step 5: The Maharashtra Board HSC Result 2018 would appear on the screen, which can be downloaded.

Step 6: Take a printout of the mark sheet and retain it for future reference.

Maharashtra HSC Board Result 2018 - Verification of Marks

After Maharashtra Board HSC result is announced, candidates who have doubts regarding their marks can apply for revaluation or verification of marks. The application forms are available online in the Board's website. Candidates have to submit the filled form to the Departmental Secretary, MPBSHSE along with other enclosures as mentioned in the form before last date. The fee for revaluation is Rs. 300 per subject and that for verification (recounting) is Rs. 50 per subject. This fee can be paid via Demand Draft (DD) or challan. 


Maharashtra HSC Result - Important Points

  • Maharashtra HSC result which is declared online is provisional and will not be treated as original.
  • The Board will issue original mark sheets to candidates soon after the online declaration of result. Candidates will be able to collect the same from their respective schools in person.
  • Candidates with 75% and above will be awarded Grade I along with distinction.
  • Students obtaining between 60 to 75 percentage of marks will be awarded Grade I.
  • Those securing between 45% to 60% will be given grade II.
  • To clear the exam, candidates have to obtain a minimum of 20% marks in the written exam and an aggregate of 35% in theory and practical combined.

About Maharashtra Board

Established in 1966 under the Maharashtra State Education Boards Act, Maharashtra Board conducts HSC (12th class) and SSC (10th Class) exams and declare results for the same in the state. It has nine divisional boards which are situated in Pune, Mumbai, Aurangabad, Nasik, Nagpur, Kolhapur, Amravati and Konkan. 7,000 HSC schools are affiliated to the Maharashtra State Board. The Board also prescribes textbooks for higher secondary schools.
