Original mark sheets can be collected by students from their respective schools on June 12 from 3 pm. Students can submit their applications for revaluation of marks and photocopies of answer sheet from May 31 to June 9. The pass percentage this year is 88.41, a 1.09% dip compared to 2017 which was 89.50. The pass percentage in Arts stream dropped by 2.98%. The pass percentage of girls is 92.36 while that among boys is 85.23. Maximum pass percentage has been recorded from Konkon district with 94.85.  Maharashtra HSC result 2018 includes marks scored by candidates in each subject, overall score, percentage/ CGPA besides candidates' details and qualifying status.

Around 14.85 lakh students took Maharashtra HSC 2018 conducted from February 21 to March 20, 2018. Of this, around 5.8 lakh appeared for the Science stream, 4.79 lakh for Commerce, 3.66 lakh for Arts and the remaining for Vocational stream. The board conducted the exams at 9 divisions- Konkan, Mumbai, Pune, Aurangabad, Nagpur, Amaravati, Kolhapur, Latur and Nashik. Maharashtra Board has declared Maharashtra 12th result on May 30. Candidates have to enter their 7 digit seat number and mother’s first name to check Maharashtra 12th result 2018. Follow the steps given below to check Maharashtra HSC result:

Maharashtra HSC Board Result 2018 - Verification of Marks

As Maharashtra Board HSC result has been announced, candidates who have doubts regarding their marks can apply for revaluation or verification of marks. The revaluation of answer sheets will begin from May 31. Candidates have to submit self-attested copies of their marksheet for revaluation. The application forms are available online in the Board's website. Candidates have to submit the filled form to the Departmental Secretary, MPBSHSE along with other enclosures as mentioned in the form, before last date. The fee for revaluation is Rs. 300 per subject and that for verification (recounting) is Rs. 50 per subject. This fee can be paid via Demand Draft (DD) or challan. The re-exam will be held in July, 2018. 

 

Maharashtra HSC Result - Important Points

  • Maharashtra HSC result which is declared online is provisional and should not be treated as original.
  • The Board will issue original mark sheets to candidates soon. Candidates have to collect the same from their respective schools in person.
  • Candidates with 75% and above has been awarded Grade I along with distinction.
  • Students obtaining between 60 to 75 percentage of marks has been awarded Grade I.
  • Those securing between 45% to 60% has been given grade II.
  • To clear the exam, candidates had to obtain a minimum of 20% marks in the written exam and an aggregate of 35% in theory and practical combined.

About Maharashtra Board

Established in 1966 under the Maharashtra State Education Boards Act, Maharashtra Board conducts HSC (12th class) and SSC (10th Class) exams and declare results for the same in the state.
