Yes, it is right that kvpy has been removed to get admission in iisc Bangalore but that doesn't mean that the cut offs will come down because it depends on many factors such as :-

• Number of applicants applying for iisc Bangalore
• Difficulty level of the examination in different years.
• Previous year cut offs
• Number of seats in the college

Yes you can apply for the aptitude test while studying in 12th class itself on condition that you will secure a minimum aggregate of 60% after the exam. There is relaxation of 10% for different reserved category of SC/ST/PwD candidates. Also you must have score at least 75% at 10th level to be eligible.

M.S.) in the academic year 2023-24 after having secured a minimum of  60% (50% for SC/ST/PWD) marks in aggregate in MATHEMATICS and SCIENCE subjects in the XII standard Board Examination.
