NIOS 12th Registration 2021 - Students can register for NIOS Class 12th October exams 2021 until January 31, 2021. The NIOS Class 12th registrations 2021are open for Class 10 passed students. They must be 15 years of age in order to be eligible to apply for NIOS 12th registration. NIOS class 12th registration 2020 is completely an online process. After registration, students will have to pay the required NIOS admission fee. NIOS 12th exams for October session will be conducted from January 22 and February 15, 2021. The Block I registration were held from March 16 to July 31, 2020. NIOS 12th Registration 2021 - Eligibility Criteria
Students must go through the eligibility criteria of NIOS 12th admission. Go through this section to know about the same in detail.
In case of admission to Sr. Secondary course, a student must be of 15 years of age as on January 31, 2021 (born on or before January 31, 2006)
For getting admission in NIOS 12th, students must have passed a Secondary course or 10th class from a recognised board.
A student who has studied in a senior secondary school can also apply for NIOS 12th to improve or complete the score.

NIOS 12th registration 2021 - Documents required for filling the online form
Students are advised to keep their documents ready in the jpg and jpeg format before starting the online NIOS 12th registration. They must remember that without uploading these documents, the registration process will not be completed. The documents mentioned below must be kept ready before starting the NIOS 12th registration.
Valid identity proof
Recent Passport size colour Photograph
Signature in black ink
Valid proof of Date of Birth
A valid proof of Residence
Social category/Caste certificate (in case of SC/ST/OBC Candidates)
Ex-serviceman certificate (if he/she is an Ex-serviceman)
Passport/Statement of Operational Bank Account/Appointment Letter from the Employer on Printed Letter Head
Class 10th mark sheet
Fail Mark sheet of previous Board, failing which Transfer of Credit (TOC) marks will not be updated in NIOS result 2020. If TOC Board marked with (*Other) is selected then the result should be available on the Concerned Board Website or Learner has to submit a result verification letter from Concerned Board as per NIOS norms
Note: Students are advised to upload all the documents in online mode only. NIOS does not accept any offline submission of documents until there is some serious discrepancy. Students have to inform the concerned authority through SMS or email to submit a hard copy of the same.
How to do NIOS 12th registration 2021?

Step 1: Click on the link given above or Go to the NIOS registration official website - nios.ac.in. It will lead to NIOS student portal home page which will look like as shown here:
Step 2: Click on the blue coloured button named as ‘Click here to Register’. Now, NIOS application form will appear on the screen as given below
Step 3: Now select the state/ut, identity type, course and enter the identity number. Click on submit tab to proceed further.
Step 4: Enter the candidate’s basic details like name, father’s name, gender, mobile number, address etc. Click on generate OTP tab to validate the details. Further moving the candidate need to fill in the additional details, select subject and upload documents. Preview all the details carefully before final submission.
Step 5: Now proceed to pay fees. Print the receipt for fee payment and fill in the application form to keep it safe for future reference.
How to Pay Fees?
Students can pay the registration or admission fees in both online and offline modes. Online fees can be paid through Credit Card /Debit Card/Net Banking while for offline case candidates must fill the form at Common Services Centres and pay fees via Electronic Wallet of CSCs.
Note: In addition to the fee mentioned above Rs. 50/- (Rs. Fifty Only) will be added as the cost of online Application Form for all Streams (Stream 1, 2, 3 and 4). No Bank Draft/Demand Draft/Cash/Cheque or any other mode of fee payment is acceptable.
How to check NIOS admission status?
Once the registration is done and the admission fee has been paid. Students should keep checking their NIOS admission status to know all the updates of their registration. NIOS can reject any admission in case of wrong information. So students can check admission status of NIOS 12th using their reference number in the online mode.
What after registration?
A student who has successfully got admission in an sr. secondary course under NIOS must fill in the examination form for their session along with the NIOS exam fees for giving the exam in the following year.
- After completing the NIOS 12th registration process and filling the exam form or before that, one should start to prepare for the exam.
- For the same, students are suggested to go through the NIOS syllabus which consists of topics and units needed to study for the exam.
- It also helps the students to know about the important topics, exam pattern and marking scheme of the exam.
NIOS 12th Admit card
- NIOS has released the admit card on January 15, 2021 for theory and practical exams.
- Students can download the NIOS admit card 2021 by entering the 11/12 digit enrollment number.
- NIOS admit card is an important document without which no student is allowed to the exam hall.
- It mentions the basic details of the candidate, along with the exam centre and other related information.
- It also specifies the instructions and guidelines related to the exam.
NIOS 12th Result
- NIOS releases the result in the online mode within 30-40 days after the completion of the exams.
- NIOS will declare the result for the block I and II exams in July and December respectively.
- Students can check the result in online mode using the enrollment number.

I m registered for stream 1 block 2 senior secondary but my admit card not issued by board what could be reason.? please suggest what I should do. I want to appear in Jan 2021 examination
You have not got your admit card of stream 1 block 2 senior secondary you expecting for appearing exam in January 2021. You have to search in NIOS authority's official website mentioning your problem in details. After verifying all the documents in online mode in the format given by the NIOS for stream 1 block 2 format you should have to registered again your candidature.

There are several examinations in January and February but since you have not mentioned the name of the examination let me tell you what public examination means- A public examination is the oral examination of an individual on oath in open court. It may be held at any time before a bankrupt's discharge or the dissolution of a company in a winding up.

What will be the mode of examination onine or offline for 2021 12th exam?
Twice a year in April and October, the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) conducts NIOS Class 12th exams. The 12th NIOS Date Sheet 2021 was published on the official NIOS website on 26 November 2020. From January 22 to February 15, 2021, NIOS will administer the Class 12 NIOS October exams. Due to COVID-19, the exams have been postponed. The realistic exams are expected from 15 January to 25 January 2021. Applications are available through online mode or offline mode. Mode of Exam is in offline mode.
Is nios class 12 science are allowed for Neet?
Yes a NIOS student is eligible for NEET provided he/she will be atleast 17 years as and secure the minimum aggregate required against their Category. It is 50% for General Category in Physics, Chemistry and Biology, 45% for PWD and 40% for OBC,SC,ST.
