NIOS 12th Registration 2020 - Students can do NIOS Class 12th registration for the block II October exam until January 31, 2020. The registrations for admissions to National Institute of Open Learning (NIOS) are open for class 12th students. Students must be 15 years of age as on January 31, 2020, in order to be eligible to apply for NIOS 12th registration. NIOS Class 12th Registration 2020 is completely an online process. In case of admission to Sr. Secondary course, a student must be of 15 years of age as on 31st July 2019 (born on or before July 31, 2004)
For getting admission in NIOS 12th, students must have passed a Secondary course or 10th class from a recognised board.
A student who has studied in a senior secondary school can also apply for NIOS 12th to improve or complete the score.

Students are advised to keep their documents ready in the jpg and jpeg format before starting the online NIOS 12th registration. They must remember that without uploading these documents, the registration process will not be completed. The documents mentioned below must be kept ready before starting the NIOS 12th registration.

If TOC Board marked with (*Other) is selected then the Result should be available on the Concerned Board Website or Learner has to submit a result verification letter from Concerned Board as per NIOS norms
Note: Students are advised to upload all the documents in online mode only. NIOS does not accept any offline submission of documents until there is some serious discrepancy. Students have to inform the concerned authority through SMS or email to submit a hard copy of the same.

Step 1: Click on the link given above or Go to the NIOS registration official website - nios.ac.in. It will lead to NIOS student portal home page which will look like as shown here:
Step 2: Click on the blue coloured button named as ‘Click here to Register’. Now, NIOS application form will appear on the screen as given below
Step 3: Now select the state/ut, identity type, course and enter the identity number. Click on submit tab to proceed further.
Step 4: Enter the candidate’s basic details like name, father’s name, gender, mobile number, address etc. Click on generate OTP tab to validate the details. Further moving the candidate need to fill in the additional details, select subject and upload documents. Preview all the details carefully before final submission.
Step 5: Now proceed to pay fees. Print the receipt for fee payment and fill in the application form to keep it safe for future reference.
Students can pay the registration or admission fees in both online and offline modes. Online fees can be paid through Credit Card /Debit Card/Net Banking while for offline case candidates must fill the form at Common Services Centres and pay fees via Electronic Wallet of CSCs.
Note: In addition to the fee mentioned above Rs. 50/- (Rs. Fifty Only) will be added as the cost of online Application Form for all Streams (Stream 1, 2, 3 and 4). No Bank Draft/Demand Draft/Cash/Cheque or any other mode of fee payment is acceptable.
Once the registration is done and the admission fee has been paid. Students should keep checking their NIOS admission status to know all the updates of their registration. NIOS can reject any admission in case of wrong information. So students can check admission status of NIOS 12th using their reference number in the online mode.
A student who has successfully got admission in an sr. secondary course under NIOS must fill in the examination form for their session along with the NIOS exam fees for giving the exam in the following year.
After completing the NIOS 12th registration process and filling the exam form or before that, one should start to prepare for the exam. For the same, students are suggested to go through the NIOS syllabus which consists of topics and units needed to study for the exam. It also helps the students to know about the important topics, exam pattern and marking scheme of the exam.
NIOS releases the admit card at least 15 days before the commencement of the exams in online mode. Students can download the NIOS admit card by entering the 11/12 digit enrollment number. NIOS Admit card is an important document without which no student is allowed to the exam hall. It mentions the basic details of the candidate, along with the exam centre and other related information. It also specifies the instructions and guidelines related to the exam.
NIOS releases the result in the online mode within 30-40 days after the completion of the exams. NIOS declares its result in June and December months for the respective session. Students can check the result in online mode using the enrollment number.

When you are applying for NIOS TOC, you have to upload your marksheet scan copy . As on now they don't ask for your marksheet to send them. At maximum in case of any problem they will ask you yourself to be present with your marksheet at NIOS head office Delhi..

Yes with your current marks you are not eligible for JEE mains vitee WBJEE BITSAT etc examination. If you are going for NIOS on demand exam then it's better option but after result of on demand exam you can apply for them till then not. They all accept NIOS marksheet.
