NIOS 12th Registration 2020-21 - Students can register for NIOS Class 12th block I April exams 2021 until September 15, 2020. The NIOS Class 12th registrations are open for Class 10 passed students. They must be 15 years of age as on July 31, 2020, in order to be eligible to apply for NIOS 12th registration. NIOS class 12th registration 2020 is completely an online process. Students who want to take admission to senior secondary courses can register by clicking on the link provided below on this page. After registration, students will have to pay the required NIOS admission fee. NIOS 12th exams 2020 were scheduled to be conducted from July 17 to August 13, 2020, but the exams have been cancelled now. The Block I registration will be held from September 1 to September 15, 2020. NIOS 12th Registration 2020 - Eligibility Criteria
Students must go through the eligibility criteria of NIOS 12th admission. Go through this section to know about the same in detail.
In case of admission to Sr. Secondary course, a student must be of 15 years of age as on July 31, 2020 (born on or before July 31, 2004)
For getting admission in NIOS 12th, students must have passed a Secondary course or 10th class from a recognised board.
A student who has studied in a senior secondary school can also apply for NIOS 12th to improve or complete the score.

NIOS 12th registration 2020 - Documents required for filling the online form
Students are advised to keep their documents ready in the jpg and jpeg format before starting the online NIOS 12th registration. They must remember that without uploading these documents, the registration process will not be completed. The documents mentioned below must be kept ready before starting the NIOS 12th registration.
Valid identity proof
Recent Passport size colour Photograph
Signature in black ink
Valid proof of Date of Birth
A valid proof of Residence
Social category/Caste certificate (in case of SC/ST/OBC Candidates)
Ex-serviceman certificate (if he/she is an Ex-serviceman)
Passport/Statement of Operational Bank Account/Appointment Letter from the Employer on Printed Letter Head
Class 10th mark sheet
Fail Mark sheet of previous Board, failing which Transfer of Credit (TOC) marks will not be updated in NIOS result 2020. If TOC Board marked with (*Other) is selected then the result should be available on the Concerned Board Website or Learner has to submit a result verification letter from Concerned Board as per NIOS norms
Note: Students are advised to upload all the documents in online mode only. NIOS does not accept any offline submission of documents until there is some serious discrepancy. Students have to inform the concerned authority through SMS or email to submit a hard copy of the same.
How to do NIOS 12th registration 2020?

Step 1: Click on the link given above or Go to the NIOS registration official website - nios.ac.in. It will lead to NIOS student portal home page which will look like as shown here:
Step 2: Click on the blue coloured button named as ‘Click here to Register’. Now, NIOS application form will appear on the screen as given below
Step 3: Now select the state/ut, identity type, course and enter the identity number. Click on submit tab to proceed further.
Step 4: Enter the candidate’s basic details like name, father’s name, gender, mobile number, address etc. Click on generate OTP tab to validate the details. Further moving the candidate need to fill in the additional details, select subject and upload documents. Preview all the details carefully before final submission.
Step 5: Now proceed to pay fees. Print the receipt for fee payment and fill in the application form to keep it safe for future reference.
How to Pay Fees?
Students can pay the registration or admission fees in both online and offline modes. Online fees can be paid through Credit Card /Debit Card/Net Banking while for offline case candidates must fill the form at Common Services Centres and pay fees via Electronic Wallet of CSCs.
Note: In addition to the fee mentioned above Rs. 50/- (Rs. Fifty Only) will be added as the cost of online Application Form for all Streams (Stream 1, 2, 3 and 4). No Bank Draft/Demand Draft/Cash/Cheque or any other mode of fee payment is acceptable.
How to check NIOS admission status?
Once the registration is done and the admission fee has been paid. Students should keep checking their NIOS admission status 2020 to know all the updates of their registration. NIOS can reject any admission in case of wrong information. So students can check admission status of NIOS 12th using their reference number in the online mode.
What after registration?
A student who has successfully got admission in an sr. secondary course under NIOS must fill in the examination form for their session along with the NIOS exam fees for giving the exam in the following year.
- After completing the NIOS 12th registration process and filling the exam form or before that, one should start to prepare for the exam.
- For the same, students are suggested to go through the NIOS syllabus which consists of topics and units needed to study for the exam.

- NIOS releases the admit card at least 15 days before the commencement of the exams in online mode.

Class 10th exam dates r same july 22.It will held in the same institute which was given previous.
New Admit card can be released for postponed exam. You can get your admit card from the official webpage of NIOS. keep checking for updates. do check exam time , date and exam center again. It may or may not be changed.
Most probably location can be same if the exam center is not in containment zone or quarantine home. There are many factors to be considered to conduct exam in pandemic situation. Ask your friends and verify for details. Take assistance of teacher/parents if needed.

Is there online mode of Class 12th examination IN NIOS?

As far is now there is no online mode which is available for NIOS for the exams which are still left. And dates for the postponed exams have not been declared yet. So you have to sit tight until other piece of information comes. But you can definitely prepare for the exams which are still left.

Yes, you can appear for NIOS class 12th examination even after completing class 10th in 2014. This is because, the eligibility criteria states that the Candidate must have completed 16 years of age to appear in the exam.
