Can I Improve My CBSE Marks Through NIOS? Validity, Process & Benefits
NIOS improvement exams allow retake of specific Class 12 subjects to improve their scores, but the new marks are reflected only on a separate NIOS marksheet. The original CBSE marksheet remains unchanged. The primary marksheet used is CBSE, but both are valid marksheet. CBSE is the main, full‑time education board that most universities, employers, and competitive‑exam bodies recognise as the standard route. When students use NIOS for improvements, they are working with an alternative, open school that provides a new, additional marksheet, not a replacement for the CBSE certificate.

Can I transfer my CBSE marks to NIOS?
