The Directorate of Education (DoE), Delhi, has finalised the Delhi private school admission schedule for the academic year 2026-27. The Delhi private school admission 2026-27 will be granted for nursery, KG, and Class 1 students. The DoE is going to commence the application process on December 4, 2025. The last date to submit the Delhi private school admission form 2026-27 is December 27, 2025. The first and second waiting lists for the selected candidates will be released on January 23 and February 9, 2026, respectively.

To complete the application process, parents will have to pay Rs 25/- as an application fee, which is non-refundable. Here are some important details related to admission criteria and eligibility:
Regular students who have passed the previous class from any recognised school and hold a valid School Leaving Certificate (SLC) and marksheet shall be exempted from the applicability of the age limit criteria for admission to the next higher class.
The age relaxation for admission of up to one month may be granted at the level of the head of school in the minimum & upper age limit for these classes.
For admission in the academic session 2026-27, students must have attained the minimum age as on March 31, 2026.
