NIOS 12th Result Rechecking 2025 – Apply for Revaluation of Your NIOS Class 12 Result
The National Institute of Open School (NIOS) provides the facility of NIOS 12th result 2025 rechecking. Any student who is not satisfied with their 12th NIOS exam result can apply for the rechecking process. The re-evaluation application can be submitted within 15 days after the results. Students can visit the NIOS official website, www.nios.ac.in, to apply for the NIOS 12th result rechecking process 2025.

Students can request re-evaluation for one or more subjects. The NIOS board will issue a new mark sheet to the students. To receive the updated marksheet, the students will have to return the old NIOS 12th marksheet to their respective regional centres. Read further to learn more about the NIOS 12th revaluation 2025.

The facility of re-evaluation of answer scripts is only available for the NIOS Class 12 students.

Who can apply for NIOS Class 12 Result Revaluation & Rechecking 2025?
Students applying for the NIOS 12th re-evaluation process 2025 must know the eligibility criteria. It is important to know that the re-evaluation result is final and no further requests will be entertained by the board. Check out the NIOS 12 eligibility criteria for rechecking below:

No rechecking will be done for practical papers.
How to Apply for NIOS Class 12 Rechecking Process
Students can apply for the NIOS Class 12 rechecking process online. Below, we have provided the steps for students:
Visit the official website, nios.ac.in.
Go to the “Examination/Result” section and click on “Rechecking/ Re-evaluation”.
Enter the required login credentials.
On the next page, opt for the “Apply for Rechecking/Re-evaluation” of the result and choose the subject.
After that, pay the required application fee and submit the form.

Can My marks be changed in NIOS 12th Result Rechecking/ Revaluation 2025?
The NIOS 12th re-evaluation result 2025 will be announced within a few weeks. Below, we have provided the cases in which the NIOS result for class 12 will be changed or stay the same after the rechecking process.
In case after the re-evaluation of the 12th NIOS result, the mark increase is less than 5% then the original marks will not be changed until or unless it changes the pass/fail status of the student.
If the mark increase is more than 5% then new marks will be awarded to the students.
If the marks obtained on re-evaluation are less than the original marks, then the original marks will not be changed by the board.
Fees for the 12th NIOS Rechecking/Re-evaluation Process
Students must apply for the NIOS 12th rechecking/re-evaluation online through the official website. The re-evaluation and rechecking results will be released online. Along with submitting the application form, they will have to pay the required fees. The fee payment must be done online via credit/debit card or net banking:
