The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) has released the NIOS Class 10 science syllabus. The NIOS 10th science syllabus applies uniformly to both public examinations and on-demand exams. The NIOS 10th Science and Technology (Code 212) syllabus for 2025 is divided into two main components: Tutor Marked Assignments (TMA) and the Public Examination. The NIOS 10th science syllabus is bifurcated to reduce the exam pressure and help students focus on core concepts.
Tutor Marked Assignments (TMA): This portion comprises 40% of the syllabus and is evaluated internally. The chapters in this section are meant for continuous assessment.
Public Examination: This portion covers the remaining 60% of the syllabus and is assessed in the final board NIOS Class 10 examination. Students are required to prepare these chapters thoroughly for the public exams.
