NIOS Class 10 Science Syllabus 2026: Bifurcation

The NIOS 10th science syllabus is bifurcated to reduce the exam pressure and help students focus on core concepts.

• Tutor Marked Assignments (TMA): This portion comprises 40% of the syllabus and is evaluated internally. The chapters in this section are meant for continuous assessment.

• Public Examination: This portion covers the remaining 60% of the syllabus and is assessed in the final board NIOS Class 10 examination. Students are required to prepare these chapters thoroughly for the public exams.
