Eligibility Criteria for Bikash Bhavan Scholarship 2024-25

Students applying for the SVMCM scholarship 2024 must check the eligibility criteria first. They should fulfil the Bikash Bhavan Scholarship 2024-25 criteria decided by the authorities, otherwise, they can revoke the scholarship anytime.

  • The total family income should be at most Rs 2,50,000/- per annum.
  • Students must pass Class 11, 12 with at least 60% marks in aggregate with affiliation of WBBSE or WBCHSE.
  • For undergraduate students, 60% marks in aggregate are required in their degree.
  • For Diploma courses, 60% marks in aggregate from the AICTE-approved institute and affiliated to WBSCT & VE & SD for UG level Scholarship (in 2nd year Engineering/Technology/Pharmacy - Lateral Entry) or affiliated by State Medical Faculty for UG level Scholarship (in 2nd year Pharmacy -Lateral Entry).
  • Students required 53% marks in aggregate in Graduation (Honours Subject) from any State University for Post Graduate Level Scholarship (General Education) /55% marks in Graduate Courses from any State University or AICTE-approved Institute of West Bengal for Post Graduate Level Scholarship (Engineering/Technology/Pharmacy).
  • Girls who are in PG in Science, Arts and Commerce branch from Universities of this State after obtaining UG Degree with an aggregate of 45% marks from Institutions of this State will come under Bikash Bhavan Scholarship 2024-25 as Kanyashree(K3) applicants.

These scholarships are only available to candidates who are eligible to receive them. They will not be able to enjoy other government scholarships or grants for the same course or stage of study. However, one-time grants or assistance from the host institutions or other sources will not prevent the students from taking advantage of the scholarship scheme.

Below is the list of documents required to submit while applying for the Bikash Bhavan Scholarship.

For Fresh and Kanyashree Application:

  • Mark sheet of Madhyamik Examination or its equivalent (Both sides)
  • Mark sheet of last Board/Council/University/College examination (Both sides)
  • Admission receipt
  • Income certificate of the family (Not Applicable for Kanyashree)
  • Domicile certificate as Aadhaar ID/Voter ID/Ration card/Certificate Issued by the concerned authority
  • Scanned copy of Bank Passbook (1st Page, containing A/C No. and IFSC)

Documents to be uploaded for Renewal Application:

  • Copy of the Marksheet of the last examination in the present course of study. (Both sides and in the case of the semester examination system, both semester Marksheets).
  • Admission receipt for the promotion to the next higher class

How to Submit Bikash Bhavan Scholarship Application?

Before filling out the form, students must check all the guidelines and eligibility criteria for the SVMCM scholarship 2024-25. After that, follow the below-given application procedure to submit the Bikash Bhavan Scholarship application.

  • Go to the official website, svmcm.wb.gov.in
  • Click on the ‘Student’s panel’
  • After that, click on ‘Fresh Registration’
  • Select the district, and after that registration form will open.
  • Complete the registration form, and get the login credentials.
  • Login using the credentials, and fill up the remaining registration form.
  • Upload the required documents in the required format and size.
  • After successfully uploading documents, check the application once and submit it.

Renewal of Bikash Bhavan Scholarship 2024-25

Students who want to renew their Swami Vivekananda Scholarship application will be required to connect with the concerned scholarship sanctioning authority within one month from the date of his/her admission to the next higher class due to promotion by passing in the first attempt.
