How to Apply for the Swami Vivekananda Scholarship 2026-27?

Students can apply for the Swami Vivekananda Scholarship 2026-27 online on the official website: svmcm.wb.gov.in. The whole SVMCM(V4.2) application process for 2026-27 is listed below.

SVMCM(V4.2) 2026-27 Application Procedure

The SVMCM Scholarship 2026-27 application process is listed below. Students can go through the section given below to understand the steps to avail this scholarship scheme.

• Step 1 - Applicants will be required to fill out the SVMCM(V4.2) registration form that is available on the SVMCM scholarship official website at svmcm.wb.gov.in.
• Step 2 - An Applicant ID will be generated after submitting the SVMCM registration form 2026-27. Use it for Swami Vivekananda Scholarship login and fill in the whole SVMCM(V4.2) application form 2026-27. Also, upload the scanned copies of photographs and signatures.
• Step 3 - After submitting the SVMCM application form 2026-27, the ‘Scanned Supporting Document Upload’ page will appear on the screen. Students will be required to upload the documents.
• Step 4 - After successfully uploading the documents, check the whole application form in view mode and then click on ‘Submit Application’ to complete the SVMCM 2026-27 application process.

Note: Applicants cannot edit their Swami Vivekananda Scholarship application form after submission. However, if any modification is required after the SVMCM 2026-27 form submission, then applicants can approach the concerned HOI/DI to get their application form unlocked. Thereafter, modifications in the SVMCM Scholarship 2026-27 application form can be made, and the form can be submitted.

SVMCM Scholarship Application Form 2026-27: Documents Required

Students can go through the list of documents that have to be uploaded while filling in the SVMCM Scholarship 2026-27 application form, and submit it before the SVMCM Scholarship 2026-27 last date:

Documents to be Uploaded by Fresh and Kanyashree Applicants:

• Mark sheet of Madhyamik Examination or its equivalent (Both sides).
• Mark sheet of the last Board/Council/University/College examination (Both sides)
• Admission receipt.
• Income certificate of the family (Not Applicable for Kanyashree).
• Domicile certificate as Aadhaar ID/Voter ID/Ration card/Certificate issued by the concerned authority.
• Scanned copy of Bank Passbook (1st Page, containing A/C No. and IFSC).

Documents to be Uploaded for Renewal Application:

• Copy of the mark sheet of the last examination in the present course of study. (Both sides and, in the case of the semester examination system, both semester mark sheets).
• Admission receipt for the promotion to the next higher class.

SVMCM(V4.2) Application Form 2026-27: Eligibility Criteria

Students desiring to apply for the Swami Vivekananda Scholarship scheme 2026-27 must go through the SVMCM eligibility criteria given below to check if they qualify to apply for the SVMCM 2026-27 scholarship scheme:

• Students must be studying in regular mode for any one of the following courses:

1. Class 11 and Class 12

2. UG Level (Science, Arts, Commerce, Engineering, Medical and Technical/Professional courses)

3. PG Level ( Science/Arts/Commerce & Technical/Management)

Students must have passed in the year 2026, 2025, 2024, 2023, 2022, 2021 or 2020 with:

1. 60% marks in aggregate in the last qualifying examination (75% for previous year pass-out candidates) from West Bengal Board of Secondary Education/West Bengal Council for Higher Secondary Education/Madrasa Education for Higher Secondary level or Undergraduate level Scholarship
2. 60% marks in aggregate in diploma courses from Institutes approved by AICTE and affiliated to WBSCT&VE&SD for Undergraduate level Scholarship (in 2nd year Engineering/Technology/Pharmacy courses through Lateral Entry) or affiliated by State Medical Faculty for Undergraduate level Scholarship (in 2nd year Pharmacy course through Lateral Entry).
3. 53% marks in aggregate in Graduation (Honours Subject) from any State University for PG Level Scholarship (General Education) /55% marks in Graduate Courses from any State University or AICTE-approved Institute of West Bengal for Post Graduate Level Scholarship (Engineering/Technology/Pharmacy).

• Students pursuing M.Phil courses and Doctoral courses (Non-NET Junior Research Fellow and NET-Lecturership) from State-aided institutions.
• Girls pursuing PG degrees from universities of the state after obtaining a UG degree with at least 45% marks in aggregate can avail of the scholarship scheme as Kanyashree(K3) applicants.
• All candidates must have a family income of Rs. 2,50,000 /- per annum or below to be able to apply for the SVMCM scheme 2026-27.
