The Mathematics Teachers' Association, India (MTAI) is expected to release the provisional result for the Indian Olympiad Qualifier in Mathematics (IOQM) 2026-27 on its official website in October 2026. The IOQM result link will be activated at ioqm.mtai.org.in and olympiads.hbcse.tifr.res.in. Students have to enter their enrollment/registration number and DOB in the result window to access the IOQM 2026 result.

The IOQM cut-off scores will also be made available along with the final results. Students who are shortlisted in the final IOQM result 2026-27 will be able to register for Stage 2 of the Mathematical Olympiad, i.e., the RMO exam. Steps to Access IOQM Result 2026-27 Online
Students can follow the steps given below to know the process to download the IOQM 2026 result online via the official website:
Visit the official website at ioqm.mtai.org.in.
Go to the link titled ‘IOQM Results 2026’ and click on it.
Enter the login credentials from the IOQM admit card in the Student Login section, then submit.
The IOQM result 2026-27 will appear on the screen. Download and print the result for future reference.

Raise Objections for IOQM Scores 2026-27
MTAI announces the provisional scores for the IOQM exam 2026-27. Students will have a stipulated time period during which they can raise objections against the IOQM provisional scores if they find any discrepancy in their marks. Candidates should carefully review their IOQM 2026-27 scores and submit their objections before the deadline. After reviewing the objections, MTAI will release the final IOQM scores, which will be considered for the subsequent stage of the Olympiad.
What after the declaration of the IOQM Final Result 2026-27?
Students who clear Stage 1 of the Mathematical Olympiad (IOQM) will be able to register for Stage 2 of the exam, which is the Regional Mathematical Olympiad. Students can challenge it till 11th September 2025.
The final answer key will be released in the second week of September 2025.
