National Testing Agency (NTA) conducted the All India Sainik School Entrance Examination (AISSEE) 2024 on January 28, 2024 and the AISSEE 2024 result was released on March 13, 2024. NTA has provided the number of tentative seats for old and new Sainik Schools. The seats in Sainik School have increased for girls and boys as there are 19 new schools added to the board. There is an allotment of seats especially for the girls this year.

Number of Sainik School Seats for Boys and Girls
In the 33 Sainik Schools that are already in operation, there are a total of 340 seats available for girls in Class 6. Some schools also have seats for girls in Class 9, with 42 such seats across these schools. Seats in New Sainik School
Moreover, girls will also be admitted to Class 6 in the newly approved 19 Sainik Schools, with a total of 486 reserved seats for them in these institutions. More seats are allocated for boys, totalling 1609 seats for boys in Class 6 across these 19 new schools.
Probable seats in class 6 in 19 new Sainik Schools for the year 2024-25 session
Out of the new 19 Sainik Schools, girls will get admission to 17 schools. In these two schools, 80 seats in Adani World School, Nellore, Andhra Pradesh and 80 seats in Veda Vyas Vidyalayam Sainik School, Kozhikode, Kerala, admission can be filled with either boys or girls. Overall, there are 2255 seats available in these 19 new schools combined.
Out of 19 schools, only 2 schools are only for boys. In this, 50 boys will be admitted to Padmashree Dr. Vittalrao Vikhe Patil Sainik School in Ahmednagar district of Maharashtra and 80 boys will be admitted to Raj Lakshmi Sanvid Gurukulam in Solan district of Himachal Pradesh. Apart from this, admissions will also be taken in other newly approved schools.

Number of girls Enrolled in Old Sainik Schools
In the past, all 33 Sainik Schools in the country had both boys and girls studying together. Minister of State for Defense Ajay Bhatt mentioned in a written response in the Rajya Sabha on July 24, 2023, that new Sainik Schools being set up in partnership with NGOs, private organizations, or state government schools may not have a requirement to be co-educational. As of July 18, 2023, there were 1,299 girl students enrolled in Sainik Schools established under the old system.

The All India Sainik Schools Entrance Examination (AISSEE) - 2024 results for classes 6 and 9 are expected to be released in the second week of March 2024. The candidates who appeared for AISSEE-2024 for classes 6 and 9 can check their results in the official website of NTA, exams.nta.ac.in.
Students can use their AISSEE application number and password or date of birth to check their AISSEE result 2024.
The answer key for the exam was already provided February 25, 2024. The last date for the raise of correction was tll February 27, 2024.

National Testing Agency (NTA) will release the admission form for Sainik school in the last week of September 2022. The Sainik School admission form 2022 will be released on the official website of NTA, aissee.nta.nic.in. Keep an eye on the official website for the latest information. NTA will conduct the All India Sainik School Entrance Examination in the first week of January 2022-23. NTA AISSEE 2022-23 application fee for boys and girls is the same i.e. Rs. 400 for SC/ST and Rs 550 for other category students.
