The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) provides a second chance for students who have compartmental results or want to improve their marks in the CBSE board exam. The CBSE improvement exam 2026 will be conducted for Class 10 and Class 12. Students can apply for the CBSE 10th, 12th improvement exams from the official website at cbse.nic.in from April 16 to 20, 2026 (without any late fee). For Class 10th, the board will conduct the Phase 2 exam from May 15 to June 1, 2026, and for Class 12, the exam will be conducted in July 2026.

(A) Fees for all activities are accepted only through the following digital payment modes by CBSE:
- India: Debit Card/Credit Card/NEFT/RTGS/UPI/Net banking

(B) Before payment of the fee, schools can take a printout of the LOC in the form of a checklist. Once the fee is paid, the final LOC will be printed, and no correction could be made in the online or offline mode thereafter.
