To pass the AHSEC HS 2nd year exams, students must secure the minimum required marks in both core and elective subjects. The Assam HS passing criteria is as follows:
The AHSEC HS 2nd year exam is conducted in three streams: Science, Arts, and Commerce, with students required to appear for two core subjects (English and MIL/Alternative English) and three elective subjects from their respective streams.
The fourth elective subject can be chosen as an additional option, though only the best three electives are considered for determining division, rank, and distinctions.

AHSEC follows a grading system to evaluate students' performance. Students securing 75% or more in the aggregate are awarded Star Marks, and those obtaining 80% or more in any subject receive Distinction. The grades are assigned based on the percentage of marks obtained. The Assam HS grading structure is as follows:

If a student fails to secure the minimum required marks in any subject, they may be required to appear for HS compartmental exams, allowing them a second chance to pass.

Yes, the Assam board is expected to release the Assam HSLC topper list along with the Assam HSLC result . If the board releases the toppers list, you will be able to check it on the official website, sebaonline.org.
To pass the Assam HSLC exams , students must score at least 30% marks in each subject and achieve an overall aggregate of 30%. This includes both theory and practical components where applicable. Meeting these criteria qualifies the student for a passing score in the examination.
After the announcement of the Assam HSLC result, the Assam board opens the window for the rechecking process. If you are not satisfied with your result, you can visit the official website, fill out the Assam HSLC revaluation process application form and submit it along with the required fee.

The name on the Admit card will be yours and that of on the Bank account will be your parents. No match right?! So, it will not make an issue if the name on your Admit Card and your Bank account doesn't match. They will not reject your application for the Award.
