PM YASASVI Entrance Test Overview 2026-27

The PM YASHASVI entrance test has been cancelled, and the students will be selected based on merit. The PM YASASVI scheme 2026-27 is implemented by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment with the assistance of the State Government and the National Scholarship Portal. Only students studying at the Top Class Schools (TCSs) are selected under this scheme. TCSs include central/state/local, aided or private schools with 100% pass percentage in 10th and 12th exams.

How to Apply for the YASASVI Scholarship Award Scheme 2026-27?

Students can apply for the PM Young Achievers Scholarship Award Scheme by filling out the application form available on the official website of NSP. Below, we have provided a general process on how to apply for the scholarship:

• Visit the official website of NSP, scholarships.gov.in.
• Log in to the NSP account or create a new account if the candidate is not registered.
• Go to the "PM Yasasvi Central Sector Scheme of Top Class Education in Schools for OBC, EBC and DNT Students".
• Fill out the required details and upload documents.
• Now, submit the NSP registration form for the Yasasvi scheme.

Eligibility Criteria for the YASASVI Scholarship for Students and Schools

• Top Class Schools (TCS) with a 100% pass rate in Classes 10 and 12 will be selected for the PM YASASVI scheme 2026-27.
• At least 30% of the PM YASASVI scholarship is reserved for girls.
• OBC/EBC/DNT students studying in TCSs can apply for scholarships through NSP.
• Scholarship will be given based on a state-wise merit list.
• Selection will be based on the student's marks obtained in the previous class's final exam.

PM YASASVI Scholarship Scheme Result 2026-27

Earlier, the PM YSASVI entrance exam result used to include the student’s name, marks obtained and other details. However, no entrance examination will be held for the PM YASASVI scholarship. So, students will be selected based on the merit marks scored in the final exam of the previous class. A state-wise merit list will be prepared for boys and girls separately under this scheme.
