NCERT has laid down the eligibility criteria for NTSE Gujarat stage 1 exam. One must satisfy the below mentioned NTSE eligibility criteria to appear in the exam.

  • The candidate must be pursuing class 10 in the current academic year of 2024.

  • Those who have appeared for class 10 board examinations in 2020-21 are not eligible.

  • Candidates must be studying in government, private, Top school in Gujarat or any other recognized school.

  • Open Distance Learning students are also eligible if their age is not above 18 years and are appearing for class 10 exam for the first time.

About NTSE Gujarat 2024 Selection Process

NTSE exam is conducted in two levels. Stage 1 exam (State level) conducted by SEB, Gujarat. Selected students are called for stage 2 (National Level) which is conducted by NCERT. NTSE Gujarat 2024 Syllabus

GSEB or NCERT do not prescribe NTSE syllabus for stage 1, so students must refer to class 9th and CBSE class 10 syllabus 2024. Candidates have to refer to the official PDF that gives information on SAT and MAT. They can use the same to hone their preparation. Students must refer NCERT syllabus as it is similar to the NTSE Syllabus 2024

Mental Ability Test - Questions that include logical reasoning and problem-solving skills of the students.

Scholastic Ability Test - The factual knowledge of students in Mathematics, Science, and Social Science is tested.
