The National Yoga Olympiad (NYO) 2026 is organised by the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) under the Ministry of Education, Government of India. The registration process for the National Yoga Olympiad 2026 will remain open until June 10, 2026, at 11:59 PM. Registered participants will be able to take part in the Olympiad, which is scheduled to be conducted from June 15 to June 18, 2026. The National Yoga Olympiad 2026 event will be held in an online mode, where students will participate through a quiz and assessment conducted on the official portal.

National Yoga Olympiad is initiated as a follow-up to the International Day of Yoga (celebrated annually on June 21), it is designed to encourage school students across the country to adopt a healthy and mindful lifestyle.

The National Yoga Olympiad 2026 Online Quiz will be conducted for both boys and girls across the Preparatory, Middle, and Secondary stages in alignment with the National Education Policy and the National Curriculum Framework for School Education.
Students from government, government-aided, and recognized schools are eligible to participate in the National Yoga Olympiad Online Quiz through their respective affiliated organizations. These include State and Union Territory education departments, Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS), Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS), National Education Society for Tribal Students (NESTS) under Eklavya Model Residential Schools, Vidya Bharati Akhil Bharatiya Shiksha Sansthan (VBABSS), CISCE-affiliated schools, CBSE-affiliated schools, NCERT’s Regional Institutes of Education (PM SHRI Demonstration Multipurpose Schools), and other private schools affiliated with recognized education boards.

Students from Class 3 to Class 12 can participate. The National yoga olympiad registration requires specific school and student data to prevent duplicate entries and maintain authentic records.

After completing the registration process, participants must log in to the portal and go through the Yoga Pledge and Yoga Geet before attempting the quiz. This is a compulsory requirement for all participants. The quiz will begin only after the designated time allotted for the Yoga Pledge and Yoga Geet has been completed.
Participants can register for the National Yoga Olympiad through the official NYO website or the designated registration portal by submitting complete information. Once the registration is successfully completed, login credentials will be sent to the participant's registered email address before the examination. Candidates should note that a maximum of four students can be registered using a single email ID. If registration is required for more than four students, additional email IDs must be used.

Ensure that all information entered is accurate and complete before submitting the form.
Submit the registration form to complete the application process.
After successful registration, login credentials will be sent to the registered email address.
Use the provided credentials to log in to the NYO portal before the examination date.
On the day of the quiz, log in to the portal and complete the mandatory Yoga Pledge and Yoga Geet session.
After the allotted time for the Yoga Pledge and Yoga Geet is over, the online quiz will become accessible.
Attempt and submit the quiz within the scheduled examination window for your respective stage.
