Uttar Pradesh Board of Madarsa Education (UPBME) will release the UP Board madarsa time table for the Munshi, Maulvi, Alim, Kamil, and Fazil in January. Last year, the UP Board Madrasa exams for Munshi (Secondary Persian), Maulvi (Secondary Arabic), and Alim (Senior Secondary Arabic/Persian) were held from February 17 to February 22, 2025.

Moving up to the higher education level, known as Alia, which includes the degree and post-graduate courses like Munshi, Maulvi, Alim, Kamil, and Fazil, the state is served by 4,536 Madarsas.
