Students should consider the following pointers to calculate their marks accurately using the Puducherry NTSE answer key 2024-
NTSE Puducherry 2024 exam will be conducted for a total of 200 marks, 100 for MAT and 100 for the SAT.
There is no negative marking in the NTSE exam and each question is worth 1 mark.
Using NTSE Puducherry answer key 2024, calculate marks separately for MAT and SAT and refer to the minimum qualifying scores for both the tests provided in the following section.
Next, calculate overall scores and refer to the cut off for NTSE Puducherry to check whether the candidate is qualified for stage 2 or not.
How to Calculate Scores with NTSE Puducherry Answer Key 2024?
As per NCERT’s instructions, no negative marking will be done for NTSE 2024 in both stage 1 & stage 2. Each question will be for 1 mark only. To calculate your scores using the NTSE Puducherry answer key 2024, use the following equation.
- Marks obtained in MAT and SAT = Total number of correct answers x 1
- Overall marks = Marks obtained in MAT+ Marks obtained in SAT
- Students calculating their marks using NTSE Puducherry answer key 2024 should also refer to the minimum qualifying marks for the exam.

NTSE Stage 2 Answer Key 2024
NCERT will conduct the stage 2 examination in May 2025, for all the stage 1 qualifiers. the answer key for Stage 2 is to be released one week before the exam day on the official website, ncert.nic.in. However, a few coaching institutes release the stage 2 answer key on the day of the test. Students do note that the unofficial answer keys released by coaching institutes may or may not match with the final answer key. Also, only rely on the official NTSE Puducherry answer key 2024 for checking the expected scores.

As of now, the NTSE 2025-26 registration date have not been officially announced.Usually the registration process begins in August or September through your state's SCERT or the liaison officer in each state.The stage one exam is generally held in December and stage two in june of the following year.
To get the exact dates and updates, regularly check the official NCERT or your state's SCERT website .

Most likely NTSE Stage 1 registration forms would release in August or sept. You must keep eye on UP's SCERT website and stay tuned to NCERT and national exam portals, as they will publish official dates and links once available.
