NTSE Puducherry 2024 - DSE, Puducherry may release the NTSE application form in August/September 2024. The NTSE Puducherry application form will be available on the official website, nmmsntspdy.com. The stage 1 exam is expected to be conducted in December 2024.

The NTSE result for stage 1 exam will be announced in February 2025. Students who qualify the NTSE exam will be allowed to appear in the NTSE stage 2 exam. NTSE Puducherry exam includes the MAT (Mental Ability Test) and the SAT (Scholastic Aptitude Test) questions. Students who qualify for both exams will be awarded scholarship by NCERT. NTSE Puducherry 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Only eligible students are allowed to submit the NTSE forms. Hence, they must check the complete NTSE eligibility criteria before applying for the Puducherry NTSE exam. Below are some important terms of eligibility-

  • Students of Indian nationality are allowed to apply for the examination.

  • Only class 10 students who are studying in the schools of Puducherry in the current academic year are eligible to apply for NTSE Puducherry 2024.

  • Besides, students must have secured at least 60% marks in Class 9th annual exams.

  • Students have to obtain a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent for renewal of scholarship every year.

  • NMMS scholarship holders are also eligible to appear for the exam.

NTSE Puducherry 2024 Application Form

Department of Education, Puducherry will release the NTSE application forms online in August/September 2024. Students who meet the above eligibility criteria can apply for NTSE Puducherry NTSE 2024. The applications can also be submitted through the respective schools in offline mode.

How to fill NTSE Puducherry Application form?

  • Visit the official website of DSE, Puducherry to download the NTSE forms.

  • The application forms will also be available at the schools. Students should get the forms free of cost.

  • After getting the NTSE Puducherry application form, fill the form with correct and relevant information such as name, school details, address, contact information and more.

  • Attach the necessary documents including the photograph, income certificate, caste certificate and get the form attested by the head of the institution/ school.

  • Now, submit the form to the head of the institution or state liaison officer. The address of the state liaison officer is provided above.

NTSE Puducherry Syllabus 2024

The exam authority does not specify any syllabus for NTSE stage 1. However, students are suggested to follow the Class 9th & CBSE Class 10th syllabus to prepare for NTSE exam. If a school is affiliated with the state board, then students should follow the state board class 9th and class 10th syllabus for SAT preparation. However, questions in the MAT section will be related to the reasoning section. NTSE syllabus for stage II will be similar, however, for stage II students have to only follow NCERT syllabus.

NTSE Puducherry 2024 - Exam Preparation

To prepare for Puducherry NTSE 2024, one must first go through the entire examination pattern and syllabus. After knowing the important sections, follow the given steps of NTSE preparation to score well in the exam-

  1. Make short notes while studying a topic or section.

  2. Students preparing for the exam should include the NTSE sample papers and previous year question papers in their preparation material. They should practice at least two tests in a week.

  3. Consult with teachers or experts to know the best way to solve questions.

  4. Refer to the NTSE preparation books that are available online and offline at a bookstore, to add value in your preparation.

  5. Instead of spending time on social media, make a proper study schedule and adhere to it.

NTSE Puducherry Admit Card 2024

NCERT will release NTSE stage 2 admit card for Puducherry and other states. Students will be able to download the same from NCERT official website by entering their stage 1 credentials. OBC students will have to send their OBC certificate to DSE within 15 days after the declaration of result to be able to download their admit cards for stage II exam. NTSE 2024 admit card will contain the details of the students and exam information including the exam date, time and venue details. Students must bring their Puducherry NTSE admit card while appearing in the test else they won’t be allowed to enter the exam hall.

NTSE Puducherry Answer Key 2024

The exam authority will release the NTSE Puducherry 2024 answer key. Students will be able to check the right answer to each question in the answer keys. Besides, students can also calculate their expected scores with the help of answer keys. Official NTSE Puducherry answer key will be released online on the website, schooledn.py.gov.in. Puducherry NTSE 2024 answer key will be available in a pdf format.

NTSE Puducherry Result 2024

  • The NTSE Puducherry result will be announced online by the exam conducting authority.

  • The stage 1 result will be available to download in a PDF file.

  • The file of results will include the name, scores and school details of shortlisted students in NTSE 2024 result.

  • Only shortlisted students will be able to appear in the stage II exam, to be conducted in May 2024.

NTSE Scholarship 2024

NCERT distributes a total of 2,000 scholarships under the NTSE programme. Students who qualify both stage 1 & stage 2 exams will receive the NTSE Scholarship amount after the verification of candidature. Eligible students can receive the scholarship till their last year of professional graduation or Ph.D.
