NTSE Puducherry 2020- DSE, Puducherry has released the official question papers and answer key for Puducherry NTSE 2019-20 on schooledn.puducherry.gov.in. A total of 5611 students appeared for the NTSE Puducherry 2020 Stage 1 on November 3, 2019. Students can calculate their scores before the result announcement. NTSE Puducherry 2020 result to be announced in January 2020. Selected students will be called to appear for stage 2, to be conducted on May 10, 2020. A total number of 20 students will be selected for awarding the NTSE scholarship. Students who qualify stage 1 will be called for Stage 2 of NTSE 2020 will receive an amount of Rs. 5,000 as a one-time incentive. The exam authority has released the NTSE Puducherry 2020 answer key for stage 1. Students will be able to check the right answer to each question in the answer keys. Besides, students can also calculate their expected scores with the help of answer keys. Official NTSE Puducherry answer key was released online on the website, schooledn.py.gov.in. Puducherry NTSE 2020 answer key is available in pdf format.
The NTSE Puducherry result will be announced online by the exam conducting authority. The stage 1 result will be available to download in a PDF file. The result file will contain the name, scores and school details of shortlisted candidates in NTSE 2020 result. Only shortlisted candidates will be able to appear in the stage 2 exam, to be conducted on May 10, 2020. NCERT will declare the NTSE Stage 2 result on its official website.
The cut off marks are the minimum marks that students must attain in the NTSE exam to get shortlisted for stage 2 exam. NTSE cut off will be released state-wise while the stage 2 cut will be issued by the NCERT. NTSE Puducherry 2020 cut off will be different for different categories. NCERT distributes a total of 2,000 scholarships under NTSE programme. Students who qualify the both stage 1 & stage 2 exams will receive the NTSE Scholarship amount after the verification of candidature. Eligible students can receive the scholarship till their last year of professional graduation or Ph.D.
Only eligible candidates are allowed to submit the NTSE forms. Hence, aspirants should check the complete NTSE eligibility criteria before applying for the Puducherry NTSE exam. Below are some important terms of eligibility-
Students of Indian nationality are allowed to apply for the examination.
Only class 10 students who are studying in the schools of Puducherry in the current academic year (2019-20) are eligible to apply for NTSE Puducherry 2020.
Besides, students have secured at least 60% marks in Class 9th annual exams.
Students have to obtain a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent for renewal of scholarship every year.
NMMS scholarship holders are also eligible to appear for the exam.
Department of Education, Puducherry will issued the NTSE application forms online in the first week of August 2019. Students who meet the above eligibility criteria, can apply for NTSE Puducherry NTSE 2020. The applications can also be submitted through the respective schools in the offline mode. The last date to submit the completely filled and attested application form to the state liaison officer till the first week of September 2019. After getting the NTSE Puducherry Application form, fill the form with correct and relevant information such as Name, School Details, Address, Contact information and more.
Attach the necessary documents including the photograph, income certificate, caste certificate and get the form attested by the head of the institution/ school.

Students who submit the application form before the last date will be able to collect their admit card in the last week of October 2019. NTSE 2020 Admit card will contain the details of candidates and exam information including the exam date, time and venue details. Students must bring their Puducherry NTSE Admit Card while appearing in the test else they won’t be allowed to enter the exam hall.

The exam authority does not specify any syllabus for NTSE stage 1. However, students are suggested to follow the Class 9th & CBSE Class 10th syllabus to prepare for NTSE exam. If your school is affiliated to the state board, then follow the state board class 9th and class 10th syllabus for SAT preparation. However, questions in MAT section will be related to reasoning section. NTSE Syllabus for stage 2 will be similar however, for stage 2 students have to only follow NCERT syllabus.
