NTSE Puducherry 2020- DSE, Puducherry has released the NTSE Puducherry 2020 result on February 7, 2020. The result is released in the form of merit list of selected students. These students will appear for stage 2 exam to be held on May 10, 2020. Stage 2 NTSE Puducherry 2020 admit cards will be released in the month of April 2020. The final NTSE Puducherry result will be released in the month of August 2020. Finally selected students will be able to avail scholarship amount. National Talent Search Examination is a national scholarship exam for Class X students. NTSE Puducherry 2020 Stage 1 exam includes the MAT (Mental Ability Test) and the SAT (Scholastic Aptitude Test). Students have to qualify both sections to get selected for Stage II. Earlier, the authority released the official stage 1 question papers and answer key for Puducherry NTSE 2019-20. A total of 5611 students appeared for the NTSE Puducherry 2020 Stage 1 on November 3, 2019. Students could calculate their NTSE 2020 scores using the answer key. NTSE Puducherry 2020 Stage 2 Exam Preparation

To prepare for Puducherry NTSE 2020, one must first go through the entire examination pattern and syllabus. After knowing the important sections, follow the given steps of NTSE preparation to score well in the exam-

  1. Make short notes while studying a topic or section.
  2. Students preparing for the exam should include the NTSE sample papers and previous year question papers in their preparation material. They should practice at least two tests in a week.
  3. Consult with teachers or experts to know the best way to solve questions.
  4. Refer to the NTSE preparation books that are available online and offline at a bookstore, to add value in your preparation.
  5. Instead of spending time on social media, make a proper study schedule and adhere to it.

NTSE Puducherry 2020 Admit Card for Stage 2

NCERT will release NTSE stage 2 admit card for Puducherry and other states in the month of April 2020. Students will be able to download the same from NCERT official website by entering their stage 1 credentials. OBC candidates will have to send their OBC certificate to DSE within 15 days after the declaration of result to be able to download their admit cards for stage 2 exam. NTSE 2020 Admit card will contain the details of candidates and exam information including the exam date, time and venue details. Students must bring their Puducherry NTSE admit card while appearing in the test else they won’t be allowed to enter the exam hall.

Stage 2 NTSE Puducherry 2020 Exam Pattern

Students preparing for the exam should be aware of NTSE 2020 exam pattern. Refer to the given details to know total marks, test duration, type of question asked-

NTSE Puducherry 2020 Syllabus

The exam authority does not specify any syllabus for NTSE stage 1. However, students are suggested to follow the Class 9th & CBSE Class 10th syllabus to prepare for NTSE exam. If your school is affiliated to the state board, then follow the state board class 9th and class 10th syllabus for SAT preparation. However, questions in MAT section will be related to the reasoning section. NTSE Syllabus for stage 2 will be similar however, for stage 2 students have to only follow NCERT syllabus.

NTSE Puducherry Result 2020

NTSE Puducherry 2020 Eligibility Criteria

Only eligible candidates are allowed to submit the NTSE forms. Hence, aspirants should check the complete NTSE eligibility criteria before applying for the Puducherry NTSE exam. Below are some important terms of eligibility-

  • Students of Indian nationality are allowed to apply for the examination.

  • Only class 10 students who are studying in the schools of Puducherry in the current academic year (2019-20) are eligible to apply for NTSE Puducherry 2020.

  • Besides, students have secured at least 60% marks in Class 9th annual exams.

  • Students have to obtain a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent for renewal of scholarship every year.

  • NMMS scholarship holders are also eligible to appear for the exam.

NTSE Puducherry 2020 Application Form

Department of Education, Puducherry will issue the NTSE application forms online in the first week of August 2019. Students who meet the above eligibility criteria can apply for NTSE Puducherry NTSE 2020. The applications can also be submitted through the respective schools in the offline mode. The last date to submit the completely filled and attested application form to the state liaison officer till the first week of September 2019. NTSE 2020 Scholarships Details

NCERT distributes a total of 2,000 scholarships under the NTSE programme. Students who qualify both stage 1 & stage 2 exams will receive the NTSE Scholarship amount after the verification of candidature. Eligible students can receive the scholarship till their last year of professional graduation or Ph.D.

Ntse stage 1 exam was held in the Month of November 2019. The result for ntse stage 1 exam is declared by respective scert. Many states have declared their result. So it is expected that soon the result for wb ntse will be declared most probably in Second week of March 2020. You can check the official website scholarships.wbsed.gov.in for result.

Sorry to hear that you are not selected. In this selection procedure they take the top students only. I mean there will be many people who might have scored more than the cut off,at that time there will be a limit to the selection procedure so they take according to that count only. In that the top students will be shortlisted. You might have qualified but not selected because of more competition and more students above you. Hope this is useful

NTSE Delhi results will get declared in the month of February, so it may be anytime soon.The result will be in the form of pdf format mentioning the roll number, name, category of the candidate along with total marks including that of MAT score and SAT score.

SCERTs have declared the result of NTSE 2020 stage 1 Punjab, Odisha Telangana, and other states. Students can check the NTSE 2020 result stage 1 in the form of merit list. NTSE stage 1 result 2020 pdf contains roll numbers of selected students and their marks. The exam authority has also released the cut off marks with NTSE result 2020.

Students who qualify in NTSE Stage 1 will be eligible to appear for the stage 2 exam. NCERT will conduct the stage 2 exam on May 10, 2020. SCERTs also send the NTSE exam result 2020 to the respective schools. NTSE exam 2020 stage 1 exam was conducted on November 2, 3 & 17, 2019. NTSE 2020 result for stage 2 will be announced by NCERT on ncert.nic.in in August 2020.

The expected cut off is as follows for NTSE stage 1 Punjab is as follows for each category

  • General: 130-140
  • SC: 110-120
  • ST: 85-95

The official cut off is yet to be announced.However, cut off is subjected to change it may increase or decrease slightly based on various factors like number of candidates appeared, difficulty of exam etc.
