National Institute of Open Schooling has certain provision for the specially-abled persons. Therefore, the exam conducting body takes care of the special needs of such people while solving NIOS question papers 2020 in the exams. Go through this section to know the details about the same.
Students with blindness and low vision will be asked the alternate questions in the theory paper which will include the questions which require drawing of geometrical figures or mapping.
Students with visual impairment will be allowed to appear in the exam in braille or typewriter.
Candidates with hearing impairment will be assisted with an instructor in order to translate the sign language.
Computers and adaptive hardware will be provided to the students with autism, cerebral palsy and intellectual disability.
Adaptive seating arrangements will be done for the specific need of differently-abled students.
Students must refer to the syllabus of NIOS to know the weightage of each topic and the marking scheme of the question paper. NIOS Class 10th & 12th syllabus includes important topics for all the subjects covered in the board exam. Students can download the detailed syllabus from the official website of the exam conducting body, nios.ac.in. Class 10th syllabus is divided into group A and B and Class 12th syllabus is segregated into Group A, B, C, D and E. Students are advised to complete the syllabus as soon as possible and start solving the NIOS question papers 2020.
NIOS will release the admit card for Class 10 and 12 students in the second week of March. Students must remember that the admit cards will be released separately for the theory and practical exams. The admit card will provide the student’s details and also include the exam schedule, exam centre address, etc. Students must not forget to carry the admit card in the examination hall or else they will not be allowed to appear for the exams.

The National Institute of Open Schooling is just another educational board. For jobs, you will have to join a college and do your Graduation. Once that is done, your education board will not matter, only your marks will. So, you can definitely go for NIOS.

Your NIOS admission is valid for 5 years. Once it is registered, the validity of 5 years is for both secondary and senior secondary. You can attempt to appear for the exams in these 5 years as many as 9 times. So you can appear for the exams any time within 5 years from the time you have registered with NIOS. At that point in time, you only will have to pay the exam fees.
