The TBSE 2026 passing mark is 33%. Students must score at least 33% in aggregate and each subject separately. The paper will be divided into two parts: theory and practical papers. Most theory papers will carry 80 marks, and the remaining 20 marks are assigned for practicals and internal assessments. However, subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Geography and Psychology will follow a 70 mark theory and 30 mark practical scheme. Even though the overall passing mark is 33 marks out of 100. Students are advised to study hard and score better marks.

In Madhyamik most of the questions are based on the books. If you have sincerely studied the topics from the books then you can definitely score good marks in the boards. Very few questions will be tricky. Practice the test papers as it will be really helpful for the preparation of the exam. You can grasp the question style, difficulty and paper pattern by practicing the test papers. Also, practice the previous years question papers as well.
