The board has released separate cutoffs for the students who passed the Class 10 exam from the same school and from different schools. Students who achieve the OFSS cutoff marks in 2026 can find their names on the first selection list or merit list.

The Bihar Class 11 admission merit list is prepared based on the marks achieved in the Class 10 results. Students must stay up to date on all admission-related dates so they do not miss any events.

What After Selection in OFSS Bihar Merit List 2026?

Students whose names are mentioned in the First Selection List must follow these steps to confirm their admission:

• First, students will need to download the intimation letter from the official OFSS portal at ofssbihar.net.
• Visit the allotted +2 school or college within the specified dates (May 5 to May 12). Do not forget to carry the Intimation letter, Class 10 marksheet and other important documents.
• After document verification, the students will have to pay the fees to finalise the admission.

Slide-up Process in OFSS Bihar Selection List 2026

• If a student is not allotted a college that was not their first preference, they can opt for the Slide-up process.
• Selected students first take admission to the allotted college. Thereafter, they can apply for "Slide-up" online via the OFSS portal.
• It keeps a student eligible for a seat in a higher-preference college if vacancies arise in the second or third merit lists.

Not Selected in First OFSS Selection List? Know What to do

• Students who are not selected in the first merit list can log in and change their college preferences or add new options from May 5 to May 12.
• After the first round of admissions concludes, the board will release a second merit list based on the remaining vacant seats. If they are selected in the second OFSS Bihar board merit list 2026, they can get admission to the allotted college in the second round.
