    The School Education and Sports Department, Government of Maharashtra, is conducting the Centralised Admission Process (CAP) for First Year Junior College admissions. After the release of the 1st and 2nd allotment lists, the FYJC round 3 merit list will be released soon.     Students who were either not allotted any college in previous rounds, rejected their previous allotments, or failed to register, can apply for the Maharashtra FYJC CAP round 3 admission 2026 from June 18, 2026, at 3 pm to June 20, 2026, till 6 pm. After the registration process, the board will start the FYJC CAP round 3 allotment process 2026 from June 21 to June 22, 2026. Students can check their allotment status on the official website on June 23, 2026, at 10 am and report to the allocated junior colleges to complete the admission process from June 23, 2026, at 12 noon to June 25, 2026, till 6 pm.     Steps to Apply for Maharashtra FYJC CAP Round 3 Admission 2026

    Students must follow the steps mentioned below to successfully apply for the Maharashtra FYJC CAP round 3 admission 2026.

    • Visit the official website at mahafyjcadmissions.in and log in with the registered ID and password.

    • Open the Part 1 FYJC application form and make the necessary corrections, or the Part 2 form to fill in the choices of the college. Select a minimum of 1 and a maximum of 10 junior college preferences where the SSC marks are aligned with the cut-offs to maximise the chances of admission.

    • After selecting the preferences, review and lock the form to be considered for the merit list.

    • After the CAP round 3 merit list is released, check the website for the allocated seat.

    • If satisfied, click on ‘Proceed for Admission’, download the allotment letter and visit the allotted college. Submit all the required documents and pay the requisite fees to confirm the admission.
