If candidates notice any mistakes or want to rearrange their preferred list of schools and course combinations to get a better seat, they must do so during the correction window before the final list is processed.

All applicants must carefully check the Kerala plus one trial allotment list and ensure that their WGPA (Weighted Grade Point Average) and all application details are correct. The method of calculating WGPA is explained in the prospectus.
Students can still edit their application details, including option preferences. They should carefully verify:
Community/category details affecting reservation benefits
Bonus point claims
Panchayat and Taluk details based on the applicant’s permanent address
Information related to tie-break criteria, such as participation in arts festivals, clubs, and other extracurricular activities
Any incorrect information may lead to the cancellation of admission. Therefore, applicants should use this final correction window effectively. Except for the applicant’s name used during candidate registration, most application details can still be corrected.
Students who do not receive allotment in the trial or first allotment may be concerned about their rank position. For example, a school may have only 50-65 seats, but a student may see a rank of 300 or 400. This does not mean admission is impossible. The rank list includes all applicants in the district who selected that school and course combination as an option.
Many higher-ranked students may receive allotment in their higher preferences. As a result, students with lower ranks may still secure admission in later allotment rounds.
After the Kerala Plus One trial allotment result 2026 is released, students should carefully review their allotment details and make any necessary corrections before the main allotment process begins. The Kerala Plus One trial allotment is only a provisional indication of the school and stream students may get; it does not guarantee admission, and no school reporting is required at this stage.
Students can check the allotted school-course combination. They can verify whether the allotted school and stream match the preferences and make sure that the reservation, bonus points, and personal details are correctly reflected.
If candidates are not satisfied with the likely allotment, they can rearrange, add, or remove school and course preferences during the correction window. Students can also correct mistakes in application details, school choices, or subject combinations.
The option-editing/correction period will also be provided. This will be the last opportunity to improve their chances before the first allotment.
The Kerala plus one admission first main allotment will be released after the trial allotment list. Only after the main Kerala plus one admission allotment is released will students need to take admission-related action.
