The UP Board registration process 2027 is open to eligible students studying in recognised UPMSP-affiliated schools. The following categories of students can register:
Regular students studying in Class 10 or Class 12.
Private candidates eligible as per UPMSP guidelines.
Students appearing for compartment or improvement examinations, if notified by the board.
Students who fulfil the eligibility criteria prescribed by UPMSP for the 2027 board examinations.
Regular students are not required to submit the registration form individually. Their respective schools complete the online registration process through the UPMSP portal. Students only need to provide the required documents and verify the details entered by the school. The registration process will include the following steps:
Students submit the required documents and examination fee to their school.
The school logs in to the UPMSP registration portal.
Student details, photograph, subjects, and other information are entered online.
The examination fee is deposited within the prescribed timeline.
Schools verify all the details before final submission.
Students should carefully check the registration details shared by the school and immediately report any errors.
The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad also allows eligible private candidates to register individually for the Class 10 and Class 12 board exams. Unlike regular students, who are registered through their respective schools, private candidates must complete registration through the dedicated UPMSP private student registration portal at exampvt.upmsp.edu.in.
The board releases an official notification containing the eligibility criteria, registration schedule, application fee, and important instructions for private candidates every academic session.
Students applying as private candidates can complete their registration through the official private registration portal: exampvt.upmsp.edu.in.
Students are generally required to submit the following documents during the UP board exam registration process:
Aadhaar Card
Birth certificate or proof of date of birth
Recent passport-size photographs
Student's signature
Previous class marksheet (if applicable)
Caste certificate (if applicable)
Disability certificate (if applicable)
Note: Schools may ask for additional documents depending on the student's category.
UPMSP generally provides schools with a correction window after the registration process is completed. During this period, schools can rectify mistakes in students' personal details, photographs, subjects, or other information as permitted by the board. Once the correction window closes, further modifications may not be allowed. Therefore, students should immediately inform their school if they notice any discrepancy in their registration details.
Students should carefully verify the following details before the correction deadline:
Student's name
Father's and mother's names
Date of birth
Photograph
Signature
Subjects selected
Category details
Students should keep the following points in mind while completing the UP Board registration process:
Submit all required documents before the deadline mentioned by the school.
Ensure that the spelling of your name and your parents' names matches your official records.
Verify your date of birth, photograph, and selected subjects carefully.
Keep a copy of the registration receipt or acknowledgement, if provided by the school.
Contact the school immediately if any incorrect information is found in the registration form.
The UPMSP 2027 registration process is the first and one of the most important steps for appearing in the UP Board exams. Only students whose registrations are successfully completed by their schools are issued admit cards. The information submitted during registration is also used for preparing admit cards, attendance sheets, marksheets, and passing certificates. Therefore, submitting correct details is essential to avoid problems during the examination and result process.
