Punjab Board Passing Marks 2025 – Subject Wise Marks & Grading System
The Punjab School Education Board has prescribed the PSEB Board passing marks 2025 for students appearing for Classes 10 and 12. Candidates need to achieve the minimum marks to pass the Punjab board examination. The PSEB 10th Class will have 80 marks for the theory and 20 marks for the internal assessment, where students must score at least 33% of marks. The marks distribution for the PSEB 12th remains the same except for some subjects like biology, chemistry, and physics, where the marks distribution is 70 for theory and 30 for internals.
Students are advised to prepare well for the Punjab board exam and obtain overall marks by focusing on the preparation, assignments, projects, and periodic tests from time to time. The PSEB 10th exams are being held from March 10 to April 4, 2025, while the PSEB 12th are being held from February 19 to April 4, 2025. What Happens If I Fail to Achieve the Minimum Punjab Board Passing Marks?
Students who fail to achieve the minimum passing marks in the Punjab Board 2025 need to appear for the compartment exams. They will be able to save their academic year with the help of compartmental exams. Students can apply for the PSEB board compartment exams through their respective schools. The exams will be conducted in June or July, followed by the PSEB 10th compartment result and PSEB 12th compartment result.
