CBSE’s Policy on Toppers and Merit List 2026
Since 2023, CBSE has not published an official CBSE 10th merit list or announced the names of board toppers. The board adopted this policy to discourage unhealthy competition among students and promote a more balanced academic environment. As a result, the CBSE 10th second board exam toppers 2026 list will not be released officially by the board.
Students searching for the CBSE 10th second board exam toppers should note that CBSE does not declare ranks at the national, state, or regional level.
The board also does not award first, second, or third divisions to students. However, CBSE will issue merit certificates to the top 0.1% of students who secure the highest marks in each subject.
