Aptitude Test
All applicants are required to appear for an online aptitude test. The test will be 60 minutes and will consist of 60 multiple-choice questions. It will assess students across three key areas: verbal ability, analytical and logical ability, and numerical ability.
Initial Selection
First-Level Selection: Applications will be evaluated based on a combination of the aptitude test performance, academic record, and personal information provided by the applicants.
Announcement of Scholars
Following the evaluation process, up to 5,000 scholars will be selected. The final selection will be based on a merit-cum-means criterion, considering both the applicant's academic merit and financial background.

Be enrolled in the first year of a regular, full-time undergraduate degree programme in 2026-27.

Aptitude Test

Evaluation Stage
First-Level Selection: Applications will be evaluated by an expert panel comprising industry professionals, academicians and leaders from relevant fields. The assessment will consider the information and achievements provided in the application.
Interview Stage
Second-Level Selection: Candidates shortlisted for the next stage will have access to interview preparation webinars. The shortlisted applicants will then appear for a virtual interview conducted by the expert panel.
Final Selection
Following the evaluation and interview stages, up to 100 students will be selected as Reliance Foundation Postgraduate Scholars. The final selection will be based on merit.

Meet one of the following academic requirements:
Have secured a GATE score of 550-1,000, OR
Have an undergraduate CGPA of 7.5 or above (or equivalent percentage normalised to CGPA).
