The NMMS Punjab exam is conducted by the State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT) Punjab for eligible Class 8 students who are studying in government, government-aided and local body schools. The NMMS Punjab exam is held yearly and contains two sections which are (MAT) and the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT).

The NMMS Punjab consists of a total of 180 questions, out of which 90 are from MAT and 90 from SAT. The complete exam pattern is given in the table below.

First, just understand the exam pattern; before you actually start solving the papers, quickly go through the NMMS Punjab exam pattern, marking scheme and the syllabus in a proper way.
After going through the pattern, move to the syllabus first and cover the important concepts from the MAT and SAT sections before you touch the papers.
Put a timer on and finish the paper in the given time duration, so your speed improves and your time management also becomes better.
