The Maharashtra FYJC admission 2026 schedule for CAP round 1 began with the zero round allotment for management, in-house, and minority quota admissions from May 18 to 19, 2026. The list of vacant seats before the commencement of Round 1 will be displayed on May 20, 2026. Students will then be able to complete new registrations and fill Part 1 and Part 2 of the application form, as well as edit Part 1 details or lock and update college preferences in Part 2, between May 21 (8:00 AM) and May 22 (6:00 PM), 2026.

The data processing and Maharashtra FYJC seat allotment process will take place from May 23 to May 25, 2026. The CAP Round 1 merit and allotment list will be published on May 26, 2026. Candidates allotted seats must report to their respective colleges and confirm admission between May 26 and May 28, 2026. The list of remaining vacant seats after Round 1 will be released on May 29, 2026.
If a student is allotted their first preference (Preference #1) college in Round 1, they must take admission. If they fail to confirm admission or reject it, they will be blocked/suspended from the subsequent regular CAP rounds (Round 2 and Round 3)

The Directorate of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education, Maharashtra, has advanced its schedule for the Centralised Online Admission Process (CAP) for First Year Junior College (FYJC / Class 11) for the 2026-27 academic session. Students who have completed their Class 10 examinations can register, fill in their preferences for colleges and streams, upload required documents, and participate in the centralised admission process.

All activities are conducted through the official portal: mahafyjcadmissions.in.
Log In: Go to the official website, select the specific region (Mumbai, Pune, Nagpur, Nashik, or Amravati), and log in using ID and password.
Maharashtra FYJC Form Editing / Registration: If candidates are a new applicant or need to make corrections to their personal details, edit and lock Part 1 of the form between May 21 and May 22.
Preference Filling (Part 2): Fill out the college choices. They must select a minimum of 1 and a maximum of 10 junior colleges in order of their preference. Do not forget to lock the option form before the May 22 (06:00 PM) deadline.
Check Allotment Status: On May 26, check the student dashboard to see which college has been allocated to the candidate.
Confirm Seat: If satisfied (or if it's 1st preference), click on "Proceed for Admission", download the allotment letter, and visit the designated junior college with the original documents to clear the fees by May 28.
While reporting to the allotted junior college for physical verification, candidates must carry both the original documents and their photocopies for the admission process.

The Maharashtra FYJC Round 1 Admission 2026 process is conducted for students seeking admission to Class 11 in junior colleges across the state.
