Eligibility Criteria for External Candidates (Through SET):

For external candidates seeking admission to Class XI through SET-2026, applicants must have secured a minimum of 33% marks in the Class X examination. Seat allotment in different Class XI streams will be determined based on the aggregate percentage of marks in the Class X board examination for internal candidates, while for external candidates, it will be based on the SET index.

Additionally, all candidates, including wards of BHU employees, are required to obtain at least 33% marks in the School Entrance Test. However, for candidates belonging to SC, ST, and Divyang (Orthopedically Handicapped–OH) categories, the minimum qualifying marks in SET-2026 are 25%.
