BHU School Admission 2025 Eligibility Criteria

Students desirous of taking admission to BHU schools should be able to fulfil the following eligibility criteria to be eligible for filling out the application forms.

BHU School Admission Eligibility Criteria for Class 9

  • Candidates must be between 13 and 15 years old as of March 31, 2025. This means their date of birth should fall between April 1, 2010, and March 31, 2012.

  • Students must have successfully completed Class 8 from a recognised institution.

BHU School Admission Eligibility Criteria for Class 11

Applicants for Class 11 should be 18 years old or younger as of March 31, 2025, with their date of birth on or after April 1, 2007. Specific academic qualifications for different streams include:

  • Maths/Biology Stream: A minimum of 60% aggregate marks in Class 10, with at least 50% in Mathematics and Science.

  • Commerce Stream: An aggregate of 55% marks.

  • Arts Stream: Passing marks in Class 10.

Note: SC/ST/Divyang candidates require a minimum of 25% marks in the School Entrance Test, while other candidates must achieve at least 33%.
