Assam HSLC ResultAssam HSLC Result 2018 – The Board of Secondary Education Assam (SEBA) has declared Assam 10th Board result on May 25, 2018. To check the result of Assam HSLC online, candidates have to enter their roll number and captcha. The link to check the result has been provided on this page below. Assam HSLC result 2018 can also be checked via SMS by sending a text message to numbers specified by the Board. A total number of candidates appeared in the exam is 3,37,570, out of which 60,987 and 81,853 secured first and second divison respectivley A total of 46,351 candidates got third division. While the overall pass percentage is 56.04, boys have outperformed girls with a pass percentage 59. The pass percentage for girls is 53. The names of  top three students in English medium are Raktim Bhuyan (Moonlit High School), Arbi Chaliha (Suderashan Public School), Hritick Shyam Saikia (St Mary's High School). Students who secured top three positions in Assamese medium are Preetpal Bezbaruah (Tihu High School), Sima Queen Kashyap (Pioneer Academy Puthimari), Debasish Bharadwaj (Chamata Higher Secondary School). Mark-sheets and pass certificates will be issued to candidates by the board on May 25. Students can collect the same from their respective schools from 11 am onwards. Candidates can request for revaluation within 15 days from the date of declaration of result. Assam HSLC exam was conducted from February 16 to March 8, 2018. The procedure to check the result of Assam HSLC 2018 is explained below. 

Step 1: Click on the link provided on this page. 

Step 2: Enter roll number and captcha in appropriate fields.

Step 3: Assam 10th Board result will be displayed on the screen

Step 4: Download and take a printout of the computer-generated mark-sheet.

Step 5:  Retain the downloaded copy of result until certificates and original mark sheets are collected from respective schools.

How to check Assam HSLC Result via SMS?

Assam HSLC Result 2018 – Process of Revaluation

Candidates who are not satisfied with their result can request for re-evaluation. The Board will entertain the request for re-evaluation within 15 days from the date of declaration of result. The process of re-evaluation of Assam HSLC 2018 result are explained below.


Procedure for revaluation of result

  • Candidates opting for re-evaluation have to fill the application form.

  • Re-evaluation will be entertained for up to three subjects only.

  • To get the result re-evaluated, candidates have to pay Rs 100 per subject.

Assam HSLC Result 2018 – Compartmental Exam

The result of Assam HSLC compartmental exam will be declared in August. The result will be available online. Candidates have to enter their roll number and captcha to check the result. The compartmental exam will be held in July. Last year, 77, 277 candidates had applied for the compartmental examination. While 75,431 appeared for the exam; a total of 33, 567 candidates qualified the exam. 


About Assam Board:

SEBA was established on March 14, 1962 as a result of the Assam Secondary Education Act, 1961. The Board started functioning with the conduction of class 11 HSSLC Examination of 1962. Assam Board initially started its administration from Shillong which was later moved to Guwahati, Assam in 1962. SEBA is responsible for all activities related to Secondary Education of the state including exam operations, prescribing syllabus, publication of textbooks and so on.
