The board will release the detailed timetable for the Assam Board HSLC Class 10 compartment exam 2026. It is currently, expected to be conducted in May 2026 and the results will be announced in June 2026. 

• As per the directions from Assam State School Education Board,, students who have failed in up to three subjects but secured a minimum of 170 aggregate marks are eligible for the HSLC Compartmental Examination 2026. 
• The exam will be held as a single-chance opportunity for candidates.
• Students must score at least 30% in each subject and a total of 180 marks overall to qualify. 
• The examination fee is Rs 500 per subject, along with an additional Rs 150 as the centre fee.

• Dhubri (50.02%).

A total of 85,189 students qualified with 1st division, whereas, 1,50,167 students passed with 2nd division. A total og 46,345 students passed with third division in the HSLC exam 2026 Assam Board.

This year, a total of 4,29,249 students appeared for the Assam Board Class 10 board examinations. Last year, a total of 4,22,737 appeared in the examination. 

The overall pass percentage in Assam HSLC result 2026 stood at 65.62%, which is a slight improvement compared to last year’s 63.98%.
