For the NIOS 12th course, students must choose a minimum of 5 subjects, including at least one or a maximum of 2 language subjects. NIOS senior secondary subjects are divided into six groups, namely A, B, C, D, E and F. Group A includes language subjects, whereas the subjects from all three streams of Science, Arts, and Commerce are included in the other groups.
