Kashish Aggarwal, a student of General Gurnam Singh Public School, Sangrur, Punjab, has scored 499 marks (99.8%) in the CBSE 10th result 2026. She has scored a perfect 100 out of 100 in 4 subjects, including Punjabi, Mathematics (standard), social studies, and artificial intelligence. In the exclusive interview, she shared her academic journey and her preparation strategy.
Q. First of all, congratulations on your performance in the CBSE Class 10 result 2026. Can you tell us something about yourself?
A. I am Kashish Aggarwal, a girl from Sangrur, Punjab. I have self-studied the whole year and never went to any coaching! I find reading and studying to be the most enjoyable hobbies.
Q. Can you share your daily schedule and exam preparation strategy?
A. Talking about the schedule itself, I used to study around 10 hours on holidays and on regular school days, I used to study an extra 3-4 hours.
As I never had any coaching in my entire life, I had my own strategy, beginning with completing the syllabus ahead of school and then doing 10 years of PYQs along with tons of SQPs!

Q. How was the overall difficulty level this year?
A. Overall difficulty of exams basically depends more on the level of preparation one has done! But overall, the exams were quite medium-level oriented this year. The challenging part was actually the assertion reasons that were kinda mind-boggling!
Q. During the preparation period, how did you manage your stress and anxiety with the building pressure?
A. I was at the worst end while managing stress! But at last it was the peer support and guidance, as well as my own self-satisfaction, that worked as a miracle for me! Actually, I also agree with the fact that a healthy mind resides in a healthy body, so physical health is not something to ignore as well.
Q. What are your future goals? And are you also planning to appear for phase 2 exams in May?
A. I am going to take PCM as I am a physics freak, and I aspire to opt for physics as my career. I am not planning to go for the 2nd board examinations solely because I feel satisfied with the results and want to pay attention to my future studies!
